What's the ideal font size to prevent eye strain?

It depends on your preferences, occupation, and tasks, but here's one idea worth trying:

👉 Increase your font size to 16 for just one week and see how you feel.

A 2024 study by Zaman and colleagues in Nanotechnology Perceptions state that “Our study suggests that font sizes 16 and 24 points are particularly beneficial in eliciting better accommodative responses, as they allow for more accurate and effective accommodation, increasing visual comfort and reducing eye fatigue.”

I tested this myself. I switched all my emails and Word docs on my computer from font size 12 to 16.

At first, it felt awkward, but the difference was real. I had less eye strain, less fatigue, and noticeably less neck tension.

Small change. Big impact.

What font size do you use? Comment below. ⬇️
