Important update post!!
THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR 1 MILLION VIEWS ON WASTELANDIA!!
I never thought an animation I directed would ever reach that!! Making this pilot was such a wonderful experience and I’m so grateful I got to work alongside so many talented artists I look up to :D

While I’m immensely proud of what we all made and I love these weird animal guys a lot, I wanted to make this update post to say that I will be shelving the Wastelandia project for now. I hope to return to it in the future but due to a few different factors I think it’s best for me to move onto new projects for the time being. I’m really grateful for a lot of the constructive criticism I got on the pilot, it was my first indie animation and I hope to keep learning and improving with each new project :)
Thank you all so much for watching, and a special thank you to all those who have created fanart, posted on the subreddit, tagged me in Wastelandia memes etc. It genuinely warmed my heart and made my day, you guys are awesome and I hope you’ll stick around for the creative projects I have planned in the future! I’m currently working on a short fake horror game project for fun and starting work on another animated pilot so keep your eyes out for those :))

Also I know I never hop on and just like, talk straight to the camera about the channel BUT I’m gonna do that soon in a little update video thing just talking about some changes in upload schedule and videos that I wanna make going forward, so when you see a thumbnail of me with some dramatic af title like ‘we need to talk.’ don’t worry it’s not an apology video lmao

Just wanted to talk about the recent OS-Tan video!
I want everyone to know that I've seen the comments and responses to the video, and I greatly appreciate the feedback- a lot of inaccuracies have been pointed out , as well as a general lack of knowledge on the topic, and that's not the standard of content I ever want to put out!
I love covering things I'm passionate about, but I also like researching new topics that I don't know about but fascinate me, and that's what I wanted to do with that video- but it definitely didn't come off the right way, and presenting it as a deep dive wasn't the right way to go as I wasn't knowledgable enough. I don't want this channel to be seen as one who would just put out a video thoughtlessly with misinformation- sometimes I do get things wrong, which is okay, but from your feedback I can see this video just really missed the mark.

I also saw a lot of comments that said the video had a weird tone that came off as rude or judgemental, or that I wasn't interested in the topic, which is absolutely not the case and it hurts to hear that one of my videos came off like that. I do like to laugh and poke fun at how weird and silly the internet and it's various corners can be, but I never ever want it to come across as mean or judgy, and I'm disappointed in myself that my script and tone could even come across like that.

I also wanted to bring up uncredited art that was featured in the video. As an artist myself I genuinely care a lot about adding artist credit where possible and have always included it- this video featured a ton of uncredited fanart due to a slight miscommunication with the editor during the editing process, and due to having deadlines I had to post it without adding the appropriate credits- again this is 100% on me, and is another large reason I want to take this video down. It’s not okay and I will absolutely do better. Going forward I am communicating the importance of including credits with everyone I work with and making sure to check that they’re all added (except for instances of older Internet art where it’s difficult to find a source/usernames have been changed/accounts deleted etc)

Lastly, I want to address a few comments I saw blaming the drop in quality on me getting a "team" and even "stepping away from the channel" - for context, the team in question consists of two epic editors who (obviously) edit the videos, and an amazingly talented researcher who compiles information, sources, links, ideas, etc,,, for some videos. I still research my own videos in between working with her, and I write all of them myself as I've always done. Everyone I work with is so, SO talented and wonderful- at the end of the day it's my channel and my videos, and if there are ever any errors it's because *I* didn't do my due diligence writing the final script. My point is, I haven't "stopped working on this channel" and any messes here are 100% on me, please don't drag anyone else into it!

I currently have a contract with the sponsor of that video for 6 months, so unfortunately it must remain up until that expires- once it does, I'll be removing the video as that's just not the standard of video I want to put out. I greatly appreciate everyone's feedback- it genuinely helps me to learn and grow and make better videos, so thank you :) Apologies that the video must remain up for a while, but in the meantime hopefully this post explains what's going on.

hi hiii!!! just wanna drop in with a general channel update :D
Animation for my pilot Wastelandia is almost fully completed, and I have an actual estimated date for release!!! It should (if everything goes according to schedule) be out in August :3 SO YAYY VERY SOON!!! I'm sosososo excited to show you guys what we've been working on!!! 8)

I'm actually going to be moving countries in September (srry NZ), so I want to apologize in advance as my video output may be a little slower over the next few months! I usually put out 2 videos per month and I'm going to try my best to stick to that, but there definitely may be some gaps in the schedule while we move and find a place (which is very hectic!) :'D Just wanted to give a heads up so you don't think I've just disappeared :P I have some really fun video topics I'm working on/planning out atm, so even if they take a little longer hopefully they'll be enjoyable!

hi hi! I posted a video today but have taken it down. I got a ton of concerning comments about the sponsor on the video, which I take super seriously. I want to assure everybody that I look into all of my sponsors- I genuinely didn’t find anything unsavoury when looking into this sponsor, all the reviews were positive and i know several people who have used it and had no issues. All of this is to say I genuinely had no ill-intentions working with this company and believed that I was sufficiently informed about them- it hurts to see comments saying that I would shill something potentially harmful without caring, or worse that I had malicious intentions. I have taken down the video and will repost it at a later date. I was so so excited to put this one out and I want it to be the best it can be- thank you so much for bearing with me and thank you all for being honest and letting me know about this situation, I appreciate it so much <3

1 MILLION SUBS!!!!!! I genuinely have no idea what to say im still speechless,, im so SO thankful for everyone who has subscribed or watched my silly videos over the years. I could have never imagined this would happen when I first started making vids, and it’s all thanks to so many kind, funny and all around swag people that love the same niche internet stuff as me :’D

I’m so excited to continue making silly vidz, while also branching out a bit this year into some cool new stuff! I’m currently working on an animated pilot called Wastelandia, and have been working with Studio Elan to create a horror visual novel called Rainbow Valley! In a ridiculous and baffling display of goofiness (even for me) I have uploaded a video WITH ONE OF THE LAYERS HIDDEN meaning that IT LITERALLY HAD LIKE NO IMAGES and it was up for 3 HOURS BECAUSE I WAS SLEEPING AJHDFKFWJF??? I would cry if it wasn't such a stupid mistake that I have to laugh, apologies to everyone who saw the first version, and thank you to the one person that commented that they were using their imagination for the visuals for making me laugh. The ACTUAL proper version with all the intended visuals included has now been uploaded- reuploading videos can kinda kill em a bit in the algorithm sometimes, so I would very much appreciate if you could give this idiot (idiot depicted below) a view. I promise the video is better with pictures.
