All there is evidentially to the mind, body and kosmos at large is temporary and changeful thoughts and perceptions. When thought and perception are removed, the mind, body and kosmos at large vanish from our experience. Where do they go? They vanish into that which is always present; the fundamental, irreducible Substance of Reality.

What is that Reality? It can only be that which is always present. In the absence of thought and perception, Reality is what it truly, absolutely is.

What is present there? What is present as Reality when thought and perception have disappeared?

All phenomena arise for a time, shimmer with a temporary glow, and then subside back into the substratum of Reality from which they came. And what is that substratum of Reality, which precedes the appearance of all phenomena and remains present after their disappearance?


If we simply check the intimacy of our experience, it is evident that Consciousness is the only Presence that remains after all phenomena - thoughts, sensations and perceptions - have vanished. Just as the sky remains present after all the clouds have disappeared. As the cloud of phenomena disappear, the sky of Consciousness remains present, as the basic substratum of Reality.


In our investigation, as we set aside all the changing, ephemeral phenomena of experience, and reveal what remains immutably present, we discover the indivisible identity of Consciousness and Reality. When everything that can be removed from experience is removed, the essential, irreducible Substance of Reality remains; the pure experience of Consciousness itself.


Consciousness is essential, absolutely certain and independent of all apparent phenomena. Only here - in and as the presence of Consciousness itself - can we find the ground of truth about our Self and Reality. So what is Consciousness experientially to Consciousness? That is, what is Reality experientially to itself?

The experience of radical aliveness courses through the totality of creation. Its ultimate source is a plenum of infinite power; the power to create infinitely, and thus the only possibility available to it is the unending actualisation of its potential to create anything conceivable, imaginable and unimaginable to the human mind. 

Essentially, substantially, we are this source. Our very present Consciousness reading these words now is this source, and our very bodies and minds are made of its Substance. 

Feel now the immensity of potency enlivening the panoramic moment, and feel a life living itself erotically. With you as its always spontaneous, uncontrollable creator and lover.

By starting with the recognition of our infinite Oneness—lucidly establishing its Reality in the immediate moment—we access the ultimate experience for which our minds seek; the experience of being the essential Substance out of which all existence is made.​ From here, our life draws its nourishment from this omnipresent, benevolent Substance that we are, which unconditionally embraces our whole life, exactly as it is.

It is the joy of the truth lover to continuously endeavour to reveal the Reality that abides deeper and subtler than the formation of mental paradigms, to contemplate the ever-present Presence in which all mental paradigms come and go. For that Presence is silently, non-conceptually, intelligible of itself, and is, as such, not a mental paradigm. 

It is Reality experiencing its own immediacy and substantiality. And that is revealed as the truth lover's essential truth.

All there is in Consciousness is Consciousness, and so all that Consciousness is conscious of within itself is itself. Thoughts, sensations and perceptions are solely Consciousness being conscious of itself in the apparent form of those phenomena.
