Hello, everyone!
I'm Spektron (or just Spek for short), and I write & produce music in my free time.
I've been making music since about 2019, but I never uploaded any of my work up until now - and I figured it was time to change that!
From now on, this channel will be home to any and all of my past and future endeavors, as I strive to upload and chronicle them all neatly in one place.
My work does run the genre gamut quite a bit, so you'll find anything ranging from old retro style BGM, classic electronica, all the way to grand orchestral scores here. Whichever pieces you end up devoting your attention to, I appreciate it all the same.
Especially as far as my orchestral works are concerned, I tend to draw a lot of inspiration & influence from the Dark Souls trilogy.

Hey everyone! How's it going?
I wanted to provide a bit of a channel update.
Basically, I'm done uploading all of my Soulslike tracks up to a certain point, and I've compiled them all in the Gravesongs album that I released recently.
I've been in a creative rut for months, BUT my creative spark is coming back, with me writing numerous new orchestral pieces of late - and, notably, I got my first ever gig as a videogame composer!
The game I'm working on is called EX/EXO: Awakening In Eden, and some audio and gameplay previews have already been posted, which I'll link below:

Hey everyone! How have you been?
Admittedly, I could be doing a bit better, since I had a somewhat crucial appointment that went rather poorly for me and kind of thwarted my private plans for the future, but I don't want to trouble you guys with it.
What I did want to say is that I'm happy to report I just started livestreaming on Twitch, and I also uploaded my first two streams to a secondary YouTube channel already!

Positive update, everyone. I recently got a date for when I am to be discharged, which is November 21st, so after that, I should be able to upload the remaining compositions that I've written in a Dark Souls style.
I'm seriously super sorry that my channel has been on such a lengthy hiatus, but I promise I'll make it up for that, because I really do have faith in those compositions and I hope you all will enjoy them when they release.

Hey everyone. Super sorry to be making a gloomy post like this, but to be perfectly honest with everyone: my personal mental state has been on a steady decline for a long while now and it's only getting even worse, to the point that I'm actually writing this post from the hospital.
This is regrettably far from the only time I found myself in such a situation, but it is the first time since the genesis of my channel - which unfotunately means that my weekly uploads will be put on hold until further notice.
Who knows - it could be just a week, maybe two, maybe a whole damn month, maybe even longer than I can imagine. But it does mean that for whatever duration it'll last, I'll be unable to upload anything new to the channel.
I am really sorry about this and I hope I didn't disappoint anyone by coming out about this; ultimately, the pain has gotten too extreme to endure, and frankly, based on past experiences, I can't even say I have faith in the system - not that I ever did.
Of course, if / whenever I'm back on track, the weekly uploads will continue, but in the meantime, I just have to focus on my personal well-being.
I'm really sorry everyone, but I hope you can understand.
