Hey guys,

I know it's been a while since the last upload, and I figure I might as well be frank.

Keeping motivation up to do YouTube is hard. Between everything that goes on in life, I have to consciously prioritize it. And the fact is that there are just other things I like to spend time doing.

Compounding this issue is that I have many other interests than Godzilla/kaiju, and they come in waves. For a few months I may be intensely into one thing, then for a few months another. And right now, I'm just not that into Godzilla, which makes making videos exclusively about the franchise even more of a chore.

I still plan on making videos going forward, I just can't promise any sort of consistency. Long time viewers probably aren't shocked to hear that. But I appreciate everyone who watches my stuff, and I especially appreciate those who stick around during the lulls. You guys are the best.

I'll be seeing you around.

Have you guys enjoyed the laid back "talk about a topic over Godzilla video game footage" videos I've been doing?

I know it's different, but it allows me to talk about timely Godzilla related stuff without having to spend so much time editing, which is what takes up most of my time, easily. With these types of videos, I can put out content a little more quickly and more regularly (if I keep doing them).

This doesn't mean the usual type of videos will stop. I am deep in the process of editing the Monarch season one deep dive, it's just, as I said, editing man. It takes a while. But it's coming.

Hello my lovely subscribers! I have a little favor to ask of you.

If you haven't yet already, it would be awesome if you gave the re-upload of my Godzilla '98 novel video another watch and/or a like.

The reason I ask is because the reupload is severely underperforming, which is super frustrating because the first upload was doing so well, and that's because you guys seemed to really enjoy it. This made the almighty algorithm push it out to new viewers, and so it was bringing in new subscribers. This was really encouraging, but now all that momentum has been halted :(

I totally understand not watching something you've already watched, so even just leaving it on in the background would be super helpful.
