He got his first license back in 1990 and has held licenses in New Jersey, Iowa, Florida, and New York. Before becoming an instructor, he spent years behind the wheel as a professional motorcoach operator, driving up and down the East Coast—and even completing a legendary road trip from Iowa to New York to New Jersey to Florida and back again.
