This 1-LP set pulls essential cuts from the original Cosmic Stash collection—Jazz Dispensary’s inaugural 2016 release—featuring Patrice Rushen, The Blackbyrds, Johnny Hammond, David Axelrod, and more. Pressed on four-color splatter vinyl, the U.S. and Canada edition comes packaged in a giant “exit bag” with a prescription insert. It will be available in-store exclusively via Record Store Day in the U.S. and at select retailers globally.

Out of print for more than five decades, the album serves up a moody strain of jazz that activates both the mind and the soul, while a powerhouse cast of musicians (saxophonist/flutist Odean Pope, keyboardist Eddie Green, synth pioneer Patrick Gleeson, and guitarist Norman Harris, among others) deliver some of their finest performances on highlights such as “Uzuri,” “Celestial Bodies,” “Perception,” and “Got to Be There.”

Out November 7th, Perception was cut from the original master tapes by Kevin Gray, pressed on 180-gram vinyl at RTI, and comes packaged in a tip-on gatefold jacket. Order your copy now, if you know what’s groovy for you.
