Is AI making your brand sound like a stranger?

There is a dirty secret in marketing right now: AI is making businesses sound identical.

Walk through a LinkedIn feed or a series of corporate emails today. You see the same robotic phrasing, the same generic "strategic" jargon, and the same lack of depth.

When we started Trellios.ai, we didn't set out to build "another AI tool." We set out to save the brand voice.

We saw a massive segment of mid-market businesses caught in a trap: They needed the output of a 10-person agency to compete, but they had the budget of a 2-person team. They turned to AI to bridge that gap.

The result? A "Content Paradox."

They were producing more content than ever, but their brand equity was actually dropping. Why? Because their AI wasn't a team; it was a loose cannon. There was no strategist steering the ship, no editor checking the nuance, and no brand manager keeping the tone consistent. It was just raw, unmanaged noise.

That’s why we built the trellios.ai/ orchestration platform.

We didn't just want to "generate text." We wanted to build a managed environment. We replaced the "prompt box" with a Team of Specialist AI Agents; Strategists, Copywriters, and Managers, all working under a human-in-the-loop system.

What surprised us? The enterprise clients came running, too.

Large corporations weren't suffering from a lack of people; they were suffering from a lack of control. They had data bleeding across silos, inconsistent messaging, and no audit trail of how their brand was being presented to the world.

Whether you’re a mid-market founder trying to punch above your weight or an enterprise leader trying to rein in the "AI Wild West," the need is the same: Governance is the new competitive advantage.

If you want the speed of AI without losing your brand’s soul, you need an OS, not just a chatbot.

See how we’re orchestrating the next era of work: trellios.ai/

Beyond Distribution: How SAYN Builds Premium Beauty Brands

Most “distributors” move boxes. SAYN builds brands.

This week, I’m joined by Shmuly Ainsworth, who transformed distribution into growth infrastructure, tight packaging standards, conversion-ready storytelling, and channel execution that actually protects premium equity.

We will cover:

Why traditional distribution fails premium beauty

Packaging as a profit lever (not a cost center)

Storytelling for Amazon & DTC that lifts intent and AOV

What “owning outcomes” looks like across ops + marketing + channels

The path from vendor to true partner, and when brand ownership makes sense

If you’re scaling a premium beauty brand, don’t miss this one.

Most entrepreneurs don’t fail because of lack of talent or hustle. They fail because they think like everyone else.

The greats, Bezos, Jobs, Blakely, didn’t just build businesses. They rewired how they thought about success.

In my latest video, I break down the mindset of a disruptive entrepreneur and what you can apply today:

Escaping the Crowd Trap (why the traditional path kills innovation)

The Power of Vision (thinking 10 years ahead while executing today)

When to Scale (growth vs. validation, with Airbnb as a case study)

The Mindshift (saying “no” to good ideas so you can chase great ones)

This isn’t about chasing followers, it’s about creating leaders.

Curious, what’s one mindset shift that has made the biggest impact on your entrepreneurial journey?

We produce the show Crunching Your Growth to give entrepreneurs and aspiring entrepreneurs a realistic view of what it takes to be successful from entrepreneurs just like you.

This week, I’m joined by Devin Gambino, Founder & CEO of Lendefied Inc. — a company that is revolutionizing business lending.

Most small and midsize business owners struggle to access not just capital, but the strategic expertise they need to scale. Devin saw this gap and built Lendefied, the first business lending marketplace that pairs every loan with fractional C-Suite executives — from CFOs to CMOs.

That means when entrepreneurs secure funding, they also gain the expert guidance to grow smarter and stronger.

On this episode, Devin shares:

✅ His journey from Wall Street to building Lendefied

✅ Why traditional lending often fails small businesses

✅ How pairing capital with strategy changes everything

✅ The future of funding for entrepreneurs like you

Don’t miss this conversation—it could reshape the way you think about financing and scaling your business.

Tune in to Crunching Your Growth on e360tv.com Tuesday at 6pm EST.

I was speaking with Timothy Tweet on my show the other night and the subject of Product Market Fit came up. Most startups fail because they don't have PRODUCT MARKET FIT. I failed in several startups because of a lack of product market fit.

Why? Because founders fall in love with their idea and don't want to believe they are wrong. I am guilty of it and got myself into trouble many times over my life. Six times to be specific.

You can have great branding, beautiful packaging, even a celebrity co-founder, but if your product doesn’t solve a real problem in the market, you’ll stall out.

I’ve seen it. I’ve lived it. And I’ve also cracked it.

Here’s what I’ve learned from building and scaling successful lifestyle brands over the last 20+ years:

🟢 The Daily Market — Solved urban commuter hunger with healthy grab-and-go meals.

🟢 Raw Essentials Skincare — Brought the raw food movement to beauty. First in the “raw beauty” space.

🟢 800razors — High-quality American Made razor for men and women. Same price for men and women but a value over the big brands.Period.

🟢 CrunchGrowth — Now we help hundreds of DTC and CPG brands find product-market fit and scale profitably.

When I failed, I put myself in situations with businesses I knew nothing about and had no concept of the problem customers faced. Fashion for example. I should have never gotten involved. I can barely dress myself.

But fashion is emotional and trendy. I failed at it.

The lesson?

You’re not launching a product. You’re solving a problem. And your product should feel like the answer they’ve been waiting for.

At CrunchGrowth, we help brands navigate through this process. We don’t just run ads, we help you shape your offering, message, and strategy until it clicks with your audience.

Because once you find that fit?Everything accelerates.

We offered $1 million to an MLB pitcher to shave his beard.
He said no.
But the press said yes.
The story made it everywhere: sports radio, podcasts, international news.
It doubled our orders.
And cost less than a single ad campaign.
This is what most founders miss:
Paid media is support.
Earned media is the multiplier.
You don’t need a celebrity budget.
You need a creative hook, a clear story, and the guts to go for it.
If you’re building a DTC brand and want help unlocking growth (without burning cash) I’m offering 1:1 calls on @Intro.

Why More Choices Aren’t Always Better in E-commerce

Have you ever heard of the Paradox of Choice?

It's the idea that offering too many options can actually reduce sales rather than boost them. At CrunchGrowth, we've seen this principle at work firsthand.

We had an e-commerce client specializing in custom signage. Initially, they believed customers wanted as many choices as possible, dozens of colors, sizes, and SKUs. But sales were flat, conversions were low, and customers seemed overwhelmed.

We proposed something radical: simplify.

Here’s what we did:

Reduced color choices by 50%

Cut size options by 33%

Eliminated 60% of SKUs

The client resisted and it took a lot of coaxing but we got them to agree to do it.

And the results were astonishing:

Sales increased by 73%

Profits soared by 81%

Conversion rate jumped from 1.78% to 3.24%

Customer satisfaction scores improved significantly

Why did this happen?

Because too many choices can overwhelm buyers, causing indecision, anxiety, and cart abandonment. When you strategically reduce your options, customers find clarity, confidence, and ease in their purchasing decisions.

In e-commerce, remember:

Less choice ≠ Less value.

Less choice = Clearer decisions and higher conversions.

Have you experienced the paradox of choice in your business? I'd love to hear your thoughts!
