I had a consultation with Rita to find out my Style Key on Sunday. And I'm gonna be honest, the result surprised me a bit!

I'm taking part in her 8-week Archetypes course, where it's all about figuring out how to actually work with your Style key and archetype. It's only been a few days but I've had several aha moments!

How do you dress with the mountain style root in the summer?

The heatwave has finally hit the UK (30+ degrees) so this is what I do:

1) halter necks look surprisingly "serious" compared to other necklines, so that works

2) neutral colour palette (I might do a pop of colour cause of my ☀️ root, but not always)

3) a belt if you can tolerate it (I know some people don't)

4) accessories! A structured bag, pointed toe shoe, quality earrings ... They're the small things that help!

5) your hair / makeup can also add to it. I delivery don't do this, but if you're very mountain, a sleek hair would help!


Now ofc the autumn version of this outfit, with pointed toe loafers and a blazer will feel a lot more mountain! But we have to make do - and to me, this is a reasonable compromise without wearing anything too formal

One of the things I don't advise my clients on (yet) is colour analysis - because I hadn't felt like I'm 100% knowledgeable and able to do it.

Now, the lovely ladies from Colour Analysis studios have opened a chance to train under them, and do a virtual certification. I'm seriously considering it because they're the only colour experts I trust, since I fully understand their method.

I think being able to analyse your colours can add value to my body typing and style roots analysis as well!

However, it's a big investment (about $1800) and I would love to know - if I were to offer virtual colour analysis for about $100 initially, would you be interested?
