At times, life takes uncertain turns…
You plan something, and something entirely different happens.

When I came to Mori in November 2023, I thought it would be just a 6-month journey. I was confident—maybe a little too confident—that I’d soon be transferred closer to home.

2024 came… my name was there, but not high enough.
2025 came… closer this time, yet no transfers happened.
Now 2026… and the wait continues.

Somewhere along the way, you start feeling stuck… even cheated by the system.

I completed my mandatory durgam tenure with full acceptance. But this—this unplanned extension—tests your patience, your expectations, and sometimes even your spirit.

The hardest part?
Not being there for family. Missing important moments.
When your daughter hopes, “Papa will come for this exam”… and you can’t.
Those are the moments that stay with you.

But life has its own way of balancing things…

Mori, in its own quiet way, taught me something unexpected.

Simple joys…
Evening chai at a small dhaba with a little conversation.
Long walks through शांत पहाड़.
Talking to strangers who start feeling like old friends.

Somewhere, without realizing, I learned to slow down… to live simpler… to connect deeper.

Maybe this place gave me something I didn’t plan for—but needed.

Still waiting… still hopeful…
But a little more patient, a little more grounded.
