We conducted an Industry Sector Analysis for the Renewable Power Projects Development in Indonesia. The activities include the assessment of Indonesia Renewable Energy Power Projects listed in the Indonesian national Electricity Supply Business Plan (RUPTL) 2021 – 2030, estimation of Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) cost, estimation of CAPEX (Investment costs), and preparation of Prospects List of EPC opportunities for 5 years horizon from 2023 to 2027, for geothermal, hydro and mini hydro, solar PV, wind, biomass and MSW / WTE, and Battery Energy Storage System (BESS).

The estimates of the EPC and CAPEX of each project size/capacity are based on a FEL-1 level of detail, which we call Concept Screening. This can support a Class 5 Cost Estimate in accordance with the AACE Classification Standard or ANSI Standard Z94.0.

The estimates and prospects list have a sufficient accuracy level for strategic business planning purposes; such as but not limited to market studies, assessment of initial viability, evaluation of alternate schemes, project screening, project location selection studies, evaluation of resource needs and high level budgeting, long-range capital planning, etc.
