We are a retired couple who love exploring the world. We are active at home hiking and making day trips in the Pacific Northwest. We travel all sorts of ways: self-directed tours, guided tours, cruising, trekking, working remotely, and even chartering a sailboat. Some of our trips are fancy, others are not. Our goal is to give you a feeling for the places we go, and how we got there and provide a little useful information along the way.

Tomorrow it begins.
Bob picked up his pilgrim credential and starting the Camino Portugués from Lisbon.
We’ll be sharing the experience along the way: the walk, accommodations, food, challenges, quiet moments, and everything in between.
Buen Camino, Bob. Tomorrow the arrows start again. 💛

Just watched "Buen Camino" on Netflix last night! Back in September 2025, we walked right into this film crew at Alto del Perdón on our Camino Francés. Seeing the final movie made us realize how much production effort went into just one minute of screen time.
The entire film was shot on location along the Camino. If you've walked it, you'll recognize so many scenes. So fun to finally see how our September encounter became part of Italy's highest-grossing film ever.
Have you watched it yet? Did you recognize the locations?

We’re currently on a Panama Canal cruise, pretty much the opposite of a Camino 😊
Instead of walking across a country, we’re sailing from the Caribbean to the Pacific - all the way to our home port of Seattle, and we’ll be sharing a few Shorts from our port days and our canal transit along the way.
We’ll be back to our Camino Francés videos as soon as we return home.
And coming up next… Bob starts his Camino Portugués in May.
More soon,
Bob & Lynn

New video is live!
Today we’re sharing our latest from Ao Nang / Krabi one of our favorite spots in Thailand for dramatic scenery, easy day trips, and those unforgettable sunsets.
But we also wanted to give you a quick look at what’s coming next on the channel…
We still have more Camino content on the way including a packing video and some of our favorite Camino (and travel) apps that made the journey smoother.
We’re also catching up on the rest of our 2025 travels: Thailand, Peru, and Easter Island with new videos and Shorts coming soon.
And a new chapter is just around the corner…
Bob is heading out on a solo Camino Portugués from Lisbon in 2026, and we’ll be sharing that experience as it unfolds with a slightly different perspective this time.
If you’ve been thinking about a Camino (or just enjoy following along), there’s a lot more coming your way.
As always, thanks for being here and following along with us.
