🧠🤣 PETTY FUN FACT OF THE DAY

People be looking at me like, “Girl… how did you forget that already?”

Me: Respectfully… my brain has been under construction. 😂🟰🙋🏾‍♀️

I had multiple brain surgeries and went through speech, physical, and occupational therapy. I even had to work through stuttering and relearn ways to communicate more effectively.

One thing that still surprises people? I couldn’t sit down today and recreate my old résumé from memory. It’s not because I didn’t live it—it’s because brain surgery and recovery can affect how your brain stores and retrieves information.

Some days I lose my train of thought.
Some days I search for words.
Some days my brain says, “Give me a second… I’m loading.” 🤣🟰💻

I was watching this interview and honestly had no idea Ceaser from Black Ink had suffered two strokes. It was another reminder that the brain is an incredibly delicate organ, and you never truly know what someone has overcome just by looking at them.

The good news? The brain has an amazing ability to adapt through neuroplasticity, and many people continue improving with therapy, time, and support. Recovery isn’t the same for everyone, but every step forward counts.

So if you know someone recovering from brain surgery, a stroke, or another brain injury, remember that not every disability is visible. A little patience and kindness can make a huge difference.

Judge: “Counsel, your argument?”

Attorney: stands up.

Random fundraiser: “I made three Facebook posts and went Live.” 🤣🟰🙋🏾‍♀️

Listen… supporting a cause and funding a legal defense are not always the same thing.

Before you hit that Donate button, ask:
💰 Is it going to the attorney?
💰 Is it going to the family?
💰 Is it going to a verified legal defense fund?
💰 Or is it just helping somebody else stay online?

There is absolutely nothing wrong with supporting advocacy. Just know what you’re supporting before your wallet starts clapping louder than your common sense. 🤣🟰💳

A couple things I just have to notate:

1️⃣ Why was I so fascinating that grown folks had to have meetings to talk about me? 🤔😂

2️⃣ It’s honestly weird watching two grown men spend so much time trying to prove me wrong instead of minding their own business. 🥴🟰🚩

3️⃣ In my opinion, they never seem interested in showing the full picture. That’s why I always encourage people to look at the source material and decide for themselves.
