Paint the metaphor, color the emotion, draw the sound, and join us for 𝗔𝗹𝗳𝗮𝗮𝘇, the annual 𝗼𝗳𝗳𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗲 poetry competition organized by Aagaaz - The Official Poetry Society of Netaji Subhas University of Technology, at 𝗠𝗼𝗸𝘀𝗵𝗮 ’𝟮3.

The deadline to fill out the forms is 4 April 2023.

𝗣𝗿𝗶𝘇𝗲𝘀 & 𝗥𝗲𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱𝘀:
1. The first three position holders will get prizes up to ₹6000.
2. All the participants who get shortlisted for the live performance will be rewarded with assured gifts worth hundreds of rupees.
3. Multiple giveaway opportunities for everyone present.

𝗥𝘂𝗹𝗲𝘀 & 𝗥𝗲𝗴𝘂𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀:
1. The participants must register for the event and submit their poems which will be checked for plagiarism. Only one entry per participant will be allowed.
2. On the day of the event, the shortlisted participants will be asked to recite their poems on stage and judged on various parameters.
3. The recitation time allotted per participant would be 2 to 5 minutes.
4. The languages allowed are Hindi, Urdu, and English.
5. The poem should not hurt the sentiments of other communities, races, sex, religion, etc.

With the Noor-e-Ibaarat event, we proved yet again that poetry doesn't have to be a literary thing always. Sometimes it just flows with some charming pickup lines too. It was a wonderful event or I would say an event "that took us breathes away". ✨✨

Hey, did it ever happen to you that you saw a girl or a boy and wanted to approach them but you weren't sure if your pickup lines were effective enough?

It doesn't always work to respond to a story, does it? When you need to be direct, Aagaaz welcomes you to our event Noor-e-Ibaarat. Here, you'll be given a chance to practice your pick-up lines in hopes of catching someone's attention and having your move pay off. You'll be in the spotlight of the stage for 30 seconds while competing for exciting rewards!

PS: No vulgarity is permitted to protect your face from slaps and safeguard your self-esteem.
