The Budget speech announced broad banking sector reforms under the Viksit Bharat vision, including the setting up of a high-level committee to review the entire banking sector — covering structure, efficiency, credit delivery, governance, and financial inclusion. While this committee is aimed at the banking system at large, it signals potential future policy focus on niche segments including UCBs as part of strengthening financial intermediation and inclusion.
Nothing specific for UCBs.

When a big US leader, Donald Trump, yelled on his social media: "I will impose 50% tariffs on India!" "

The European Union made noise, Japan tried to sit down and deal, and China straight backed up.

But India?
Just quiet. No run, no run to Washington, no rush meetings. Only silence...

Why....?
Because America is done playing with..

India's "sigh" did not come out by the tariffs..
Why? Was Modi's arrogance? Or the passion of blind patriotism?

What started 11 years ago.

In 2013, GDP was 1.86 trillion dollars,
4.19 trillion in 2025 – world’s fourth largest economy. 17.65 trillion in PPP. Speed 6-8%. Poverty is halfway. FDI above 300 billion$.

Yes, the way was tough. Taxes got heavy, hurt. But it was a test of fire, which strengthens steel. Now the tariffs don't hit our chains, but our shield.

That old India, which used to bow before America, is over. No king's representative here, no puppet.

Now we drink our tea, count our ships, guard our oceans, and ask no one's mercy on our earnings.

Modi will be abused, criticized.
But this armor belongs to India.

And now the question is from the West: "When India will not bow, what will be your next bet, sir? "

Because no matter how much dramatic you do of stealing votes from that Italian Pappu, Modi is neither going to stop nor India is going to bow down.
