I've had a passion for watching garbage trucks since I was little, and over the years, I've gotten to know all of the awesome drivers that collect my bins. After watching tons of other channels documenting the refuse industry and filming garbage trucks on route, I finally decided to start doing just that myself! During the three year period that I lived in Stinson Beach, California, I began taking videos of the Ex-North Bay Corp. Recology Sonoma Marin trucks that came to my area every week, during the pandemic. Since then, I branched out around the Bay Area and more recently greater West Coast - currently living and filming trucks in Washington. To put it simply, myself and everyone else here on YouTube with similar channels find enjoyment in watching garbage trucks (and talented drivers) perform their work!

I’m officially a Ridwell recycler!
This amazing service started in Seattle back in 2018 and has expanded to 9 metro areas across the US, having kept 39 MILLION lbs and counting out of our landfills. They recycle plastic bags and film, multilayer wrappers, textiles, batteries, lightbulbs and so much more - it’s awesome.

Waste Management of Seattle’s *Brand New* Carry Can #267472 (2025 ACX McNeilus Meridian)
Saw this shiny beast this morning and followed it to its first stop- wasn’t able to film but grabbed a few pictures while it’s still got <1K miles.
Totally different than every other Carry Can in Seattle, being a new ACX logo, wider tipper, and standard WM parallelogram wrap instead of the customary Seattle-specific wrap (currently “Working Together For a Sustainable Tomorrow”). Body is atypical too (for Seattle) with the sharply flat tailgate of what I believe (?) is a Meridian.
All of Seattle’s Carry Cans (the majority) are 2018s I believe, so it’s possible Seattle is renewing some of their fleet slowly. Contract renewal was somewhat recently too, maybe including revisions for new trucks. I don’t know personally.
I’ll see if any more pop up! The new ACX’ have officially entered Seattle in the non-rear load sector. ♻️
