My holiday is now over, and I’m back in the UK and posting ‘live’ again, thanks for your patience while I’ve been away! I was able to catch a very rare sight yesterday evening - a Caledonian Sleeper Class 73 73966 being dragged through West Yorkshire. These locomotives are few in number and normally found up in Scotland. Full video of this move and more will be out in the coming week.

I managed to catch another couple of cool and unusual moves yesterday: a pair of beautifully presented 125Group Powercars heading to and from Loughborough Brush from the East Lancashire Railway to collect a couple of coaches. The return journey was 2 power cars and 2 coaches forming a perfect 'Hornby Trainset!'

Well, it was a close-call but I just managed to get my video uploaded on the day of the fantastic @SevernValleyRailwayOfficial Steam Gala. I really enjoyed filming this one for obvious reasons, and it was absolutely worth the 4.30 am start. I hope you like it!
