I’m Daniel Kuhnley, the creator and songwriter behind Shining Light Music (SLM) — a virtual Christian Hard Rock project built to bring truth, hope, and fire to a world that desperately needs Jesus. Every riff, lyric, and beat is crafted using cutting-edge AI music technology, but the message comes straight from the heart—inspired by Scripture, fueled by faith, and driven by a passion to reach the lost.
While the instruments and vocals are AI-generated, every lyric is human written by me, my wife, and special guest writers on occasion—words born out of real faith, struggle, and devotion. I pour my heart into every line, blending creative storytelling with Biblical truth to create songs that don’t just sound powerful—they mean something.
Though Shining Light Music is a virtual band, the purpose is very real. Through technology, I can reach across boundaries — blending creativity and innovation to amplify a message that never changes:

Shining Light Music's third album comes out on Tuesday (04/15/25)! Along with the album release will be a new lyric video of its title track, "Ashes Of War." This album has 16 tracks, including alternate versions of two of the songs. Hope you all will enjoy the new track when it comes out. It's one of my favorites!
