🔴 LANGWEER is a village in Friesland in the municipality De Fryske Marren. It has become a favorite town of tourists because of its picturesque streets and watersport opportunities. One of its main events is Skutsjesilen, a sailing race that takes place every summer.

🔴 WORKUM is a city located in the municipality of Súdwest-Fryslân in Friesland, Netherlands. It has something for everyone: from painter Jopie Huisman to cosy restaurants. You can enjoy the beautiful paintings of iron- and lampmerchant Jopie Huisman and there is a museum where you can learn more about the rich history of Workum. A stroll through the old city centre is an attraction in it of itself, but the nature around the city is definitely worth a visit as well. It allows for beautiful walks and cyclingtrips along the Frisian IJsserlake or through cozy villages in the area.

🔴 On Day 6 of our sailing 2022 holiday, we started from Hindeloopen and further entered Friesland via Stavoren waterlock, sailed along Lake Morra and stayed for 2 days in holiday park De Kuilaart.

We used only 2/3 of our main sail due to very strong winds and enjoyed great speed!

We had dinner at the restaurant and in the evening, everyone enjoyed a pot of bowling.
Fun, fun, fun! :)

🔴 Day 7 was a quiet day- just moored on the side, and went indoor swimming.

🔴 On Day 8, we visited an eiland in Jeltesloot, Heeg. Kids slept on their self-built tent, chilled on the hangmat under the trees or under our mast. In the dark of the night, I saw disco lights inside the kids' tent. Private party! :)

🔴 On Day 9, we headed for Terherne where adventure in the Kameleon eiland awaits!
