As you all know, TikTok has been one of the primary ways I've been maintaining my online presence since quitting this Youtube channel. I'm coming on here to inform all of you who want to stay updated that my TikTok account will be getting deleted very soon. I will still be active on Discord and Twitter, as of right now.

A few days ago, TikTok released their updated privacy policy under new American ownership. This privacy policy introduces new, invasive forms of data collection, including but not limited to immigration status, geolocation, sexual orientation, and gender identity. It is a major possibility that this information, under the current administration in the United States, may be used to target specific groups of people. Even if you don't fall into these categories, do not think that you are safe!

Please, take charge over your online privacy. There are alternatives to many of the big tech corporations such as Google, Microsoft and Meta. None of these corporations work in the favor of the people. If you plan on using social media, as many of us do, be sure not to overlook what privacy options are available to you. Also, now is a good time to speak with your wallet. Buy local and buy used whenever possible.
