I think epic fantasy may be one of the smartest genres for 100% AI verticals.

Not because it’s easy.

Because it’s finally financially possible.

Traditional fantasy is punished by cost.

Castles cost.
Armies cost.
Creatures cost.
Magic costs.
Underwater cities, sky-sized swarms, and empires built on buried titan bones definitely cost.

That usually means the writer has to shrink the imagination to fit the budget.

AI flips that.

Now the job is not “How do we make this smaller?”

The job is:

What visual promise is so big, so strange, so emotionally clear, that a viewer stops scrolling?

I recently wrote three AI-native fantasy pitches with posters. One of them is:

Blood of the Vanguard

Each epic drama is designed 100% for vertical storytelling:

Immediate hook.
Huge visual world.
Emotional engine.
Every episode ending with a reason to tap next.

The old question was: Can we afford to make this?

The new question is: Is the idea strong enough to deserve the spectacle?

That’s a much better game.

I wrote 13 new vertical series loglines, synopses, pitch details, and AI poster concepts in 9 days.

For 3 different producers.

Who actually asked for them.

So yes, I am thrilled.
Also yes, I may now be 42% caffeine.
One of the smartest things I learned in Isabel Drean’s Vertical Incubator in April was this:

A producer doesn’t just need to read the series.
They need to see it.

That’s where the poster add-on changes everything.
A strong poster turns a logline from “interesting idea” into “oh, I get the show.”

It gives the world a face.
The genre a promise.
The hook a commercial shape.

So I built the concepts, wrote the materials, created the visual direction, and pitched them yesterday.

Now we wait.
Please send all the good vibes, crossed fingers, candle lighting, algorithm bribery, producer-whispering energy you have. ❤️
Verticals are moving fast.
Apparently, so am I.

Now I just need sleep.
