Tanzania National Parks Authority TANAPA has called on rangers and conservation officers to boost accountability and discipline to strengthen wildlife protection and tourism.
Speaking on June 25, 2026, during a visit to Tarangire National Park, Conservation Commissioner CPA Musa Nassoro Kuji inspected the newly completed Mamire Gate and Matete Bridge. The gate is set to make Tarangire more accessible for tourists coming from Singida, Dodoma, and Manyara, removing the need to enter via the Kibaoni route.
Tarangire Park Manager Dr. Tutindaga George said the park is fully prepared for the upcoming High Season, with the new infrastructure expected to improve visitor services and tourism revenue.
The move is part of TANAPA’s wider push to upgrade tourism infrastructure and promote a culture of responsibility in managing Tanzania’s natural resources.
