"Homosexuality is a choice"

No the fuck it's not.

The world has been brutal and disgusting to anyone in the LGBTQ+ community. They get disgusting comments made about them, "I'll fuck you straight", "you just need the right man/woman", "it's just a phase", "can I watch". Endless comments. Those aren't even the worst of it.

Through out history, even to this day, if someone was found to be homosexual they would be beaten, killed, sent to conversion camps, or "exercised" as if they were possessed.

It can take years for someone to come to terms with who they are, terrified to come out to their family because of how they could react.

There are people who force themselves to "be straight" because they think something is wrong with them. That is horrible for everyone involved. Living a life you hate just because of family or social pressure. Just to fit into being "normal."


Yes there are people who embrace who they are now because it's more socially acceptable.

Pride month is about celebrating the impact they made, and the challenges they've overcome.

Same sex marriage was legalized in 2015 nation wide in the US. Depending the state you were in you couldn't marry the person you loved until 2015 just because they were the same sex. There are still countries where it's illegal.

Love is love and it shouldn't be demonized just because the person you love isn't the opposite gender.


Yes it is also mens mental health awareness month. Two things can coincide, because they can also intertwin.


If you don't get hated on just for being you, why should they? PEOPLE apart of the LGBTQ+ community are not hurting anyone.

They are people who deserve to exist and not hide who they are just because you don't think it's correct.

Let's use an example.

If you tell a gay man that who he loves is a sin, it's not correct, he should repent, or feel guilty, you are damaging his mental health. Something he could already be battling with.

It's not that hard to just accept people for who they are.

At the end of the day we are all people living on a floating rock in space. Let someone love who they love.


Unless they are a pedo, they deserve every once of hatred.
