1824 Walker Farmhouse

We love to share our lives on and off our sheep farm! We love everything early american and how they lived in the early days. We moved my ggg grandparents 1824 home to our farm. We don't live in it because we love our home that we already have here on the farm. It"s a converted horse barn that Dave converted. All our married life we have had a shop selling antiques, early country pieces and all things wool.
We love to share our DIY's, home, farm, recipes and road trips with you while sharing our collections, antiques and how we decorate. We've been featured in national magazines, and local newspapers.
Our farm's name is Good Shepherd Farms and our home that we live in is Applehill. We give everything a name, lol!
Dave loves to be on his tractor, loves to decorate and is an award winning blacksmith.
I love being a mom, grandma and shepherdess!

Our farm has scheduled farm tours & workshops! Lots of pictures on our website

Thank you so much for visiting! Dave & Audrey Ann

Good morning friends! My friend Gail sent me a photo of all her primitive faux pantry cakes and I want to share it with you! She made bunnies and Easter eggs with the recipe. I shared the recipe on one of our latest videos if you're interested. Gail's home has been featured on our channel a few times. Us primitive lovers love being surrounded by all the cozy things we love, right!? Today Stus is getting baptized! I'll share the video with you tomorrow when we meet for Tea on Tuesday. Enjoy your day and see you tomorrow!

Good morning friends! Thank you for watching and all your comments on the bonnet video for Tea on Tuesday. It was so heartwarming to read them all. I love all the memories that you had with your relatives wearing them and your collections of them and your questions.
Today we are going to be filming an early home, and I hope to have it up for you this evening to watch. Happy Friday and happy first day of spring!

Hi friends! I would love for you to join me today for Tea on Tuesday. It's a weekly vlog where we chat about early American lifestyle, farm life and my new forgetful updates, lol! After I edited the video, I looked up online one of my pantry boxes that had a name on it. I was so excited to learn that the maker was John Burr. He was a cooper from Hingham. MA. (1791-1857) It was a pleasant surprise to find that out! We are having a break from the cold weather today, so I plan on cleaning the Walker Farmhouse. I hope you have a wonderful day today!

Do you decorate for St. Valentine's Day? I've been working on a video while I decorate my kitchen for St. Valentine's Day. I was in the mood to make primitive faux pantry goodies and am so pleased with how they turned out. I've been making these for 20 years and I love making them. It's very snowy here so it's a great day to be in the kitchen. Friday is National Pie Day so you know what that means, lol!

Good morning friends! Happy New Year! We are looking forward to the new year and all that is ahead of us! We will be adding more about early American life this year in our videos. We are starting off with celebrating Twelfth Night with George Washington. We woke this morning to a beautiful blanket of snow. I am excited to take Katie Mae out for a walk and look for animal imprints in the snow. Pictured is an old primitive box that we bought many years ago and it comes out every winter!
You can also find us on Instagram at 1824 Walker Farmhouse!
I am curious....do you make the same food every year for New Year's Day?
Enjoy your day dear friends!
