There will be no catch-up episode this week, but mark your calendars for June 4th. We’re returning with a refreshed look and a new name: Safari+

Change is part of the natural rhythm of the wild, the seasons shift, the herds move, and here at WildEarth, we’re doing a little "seasonal migration" of our own starting June 1st.

To ensure we can keep connecting you with nature for many years to come, we’ve had to make some heartfelt decisions about our footprint on the ground.

Kenya: New adventures in the Mara

In the Maasai Mara, we’re hitting the "pause" button on our second feed at Matira Bush Camp. While this means MaraLIVE will no longer be part of our programming from June 1st, please don't worry, the Governors’ feed isn’t going anywhere.

Our deepest thanks go to Matira Bush Camp for hosting us so graciously and allowing us all to fall even deeper in love with the bush.

These shifts are about focusing our resources where they matter most: on the animals, the conservation, and the stories that connect us all.

The air is getting crisp, the mornings are frosty, and the golden hour is shifting. To make sure we’re soaking up every bit of warmth and wildlife, we’re adjusting our schedule starting May 15.

As the sun sets on 2025, it's time to raise a glass and reflect with gratitude on the last 12 months. It’s been a good, hard and rewarding year for WildEarth and we look forward to climbing new heights in 2026.

A massive thanks to our amazing location partners: Chitwa Chitwa Sandringham, Jaci’s Sabi House, Little Gowrie, Amaklhala, Mabula, Sibuya and Welgevonden in South Africa and Governors’ Camp, Enkewa Camp and the Narok County Government in the Masai Mara. The woodland kingfishers are returning, filling the woodlands with their electric-blue flash and unmistakable call, nature’s very own alarm clock announcing that summer is officially in full swing.
