Hi everyone,
Studying and living in America came to my life almost abruptly, even if it was my wish.
I decided 8 years ago to study abroad, and planned to return to France afterwards. But I didn’t. And after a certain number of non-permanent working Visas, I am a happy and proud permanent resident, living and working in NYC.

This abroad life experience changed my life. To the point that I can not compare the two cultures anymore.

Passing the first year's, where I still had in memory my native references, I entered a twilight zone, where I fully acknowledged that the new culture I had embraced was different. Not better, not worse, just different. Then to feel at home in this different culture, I created new habits and had to develop a new me in some funny ways.
