At 30+, life doesn’t slow down, it speeds up.
I’m balancing 4 roles right now:
💼 Internship
🧑💻 Freelancing
☕ Part-time job
📱 Content creation
… and still finding time to study, learn French, and apply for full-time roles.
There’s no “perfect time” anymore, only pockets of time.
A 15-minute metro ride becomes a mini-classroom.
Cooking dinner turns into podcast hours.
Lunch breaks become job-search breaks.
Here’s what’s worked for me:
1. Stop waiting for long study hours, focus in short bursts.
2. Keep weekly goals, not daily guilt trips.
3. Learn to switch roles fast, it’s chaos, but it builds discipline.
4. Don’t chase balance, chase consistency.
I’m not always motivated. But I’m learning that you don’t need motivation you just need a reason that’s stronger than your excuses.
