Maloca Johnson - Invidious

I started making music when I insisted on singing my own poetry. In the late 1980s, I lived in TABA, the temporary student housing at Unicamp, where I completed my doctorate in Urban Ecology. I composed more than 30 songs in partnership with Acácio Alexandre Pereira Jr., a top-tier visual artist who was beginning his award-winning painting career. We formed the band "Beautiful and Modests" and performed at university cultural events, bars, and band competitions. Soon after, I was approved as a university professor of Ecology at UFU in Uberlândia/MG. For family reasons, I resigned and returned to Porto Alegre. During this time in Rio Grande do Sul, I composed another 30 new songs. Now, the goal is to promote them in Brazil and abroad, receiving royalties from those who perform them.

Fame is the goal of those who do not know the perverse nature of humanity. Long live the simple life, the low profile, and the wild nature.
