โ›…๐ŸŒฒ Monday Morning Lookout (Jun 8 - Jun 14) ๐ŸŒฒโ›…

๐Ÿ For our community busy bees: pick a pile using the images attached, then peek below to get a quick glimpse into your week ahead.

๐ŸŒฒ PILE 1: PINE CONES + Three of Cups (Reversed) ๐ŸŒฒ

This is a very growth and spiritually focused week. The pine cones are a symbol of awakening, as well as truth and strength. You are invited this week to remember times that required your courage and resilience against the odds, and to be a beacon of light for others that shines out that same example of endurance. You may find friends and family going through trials or questions that echo those you yourself have had before; share your wisdom to help them be brave, too.

The Three of Cups reversed can hint at some struggles this week with either a social group or social event. You may have recently dealt with a social conflict, or are anticipating one. Maybe you're even dreading a social event coming soon. But remember the pine cones: you've survived tougher things before, and as long as you stand in your courage and are not afraid to stand out and for the right thing, you will make it through just fine.

๐ŸŒ PILE 2: CAGE + The Moon ๐ŸŒ

This week is all about the illusion of being stuck. The cage is a symbol of that which holds us back. But as you saw in your card... the bird is outside of it, and standing on the precipice of an open window; there's nothing truly holding it back from flying free. Ask yourself this week: "Where in life do I feel stuck, and why, and is there really, truly nothing I can do to get unstuck?". You might find an answer that frees you.

The Moon doubles this message with the theme of illusions, but in a good way: if it's an illusion, then that means what you fear has less power than you think it does. Ask yourself twice this week what you're really perceiving in all things. Was that really a creepy noise outside your window, or was it just a branch scratching the pane in the wind? Or using the Rider-Waite-Smith imagery: was something really a scary wolf, or just a dog, metaphorically speaking; sometimes things are far more bark than they are bite.

๐Ÿ‘‘ PILE 3: DARK FOREST + Six of Wands ๐Ÿ‘‘

This is a week of scary unknowns turning into beautiful victories. Most forests we see as places of life, enchantment, and healing. But a dark forest wreathed with fog and shadow... a tad scarier, isn't it? The reason why is our inherent human fear of the unknown. The unknown can hold... who knows? And that's precisely why it makes us fearful. Nothing conjures up more scary tales than a fathomless void with no details to offer us a peek or hint at what's ahead. But we must remember: not all unknowns hold bad things. Sometimes good things come wrapped in mystery and shadows, too.

Your Six of Wands is a double confirmation of good things, as it is a card of victories, success with ambitions, and sometimes even public acclaim. You may come across a situation this week that makes you fearful at first; maybe there are too many vague details, or perhaps you've just never walked such a path before. But know that a victory likely lies beyond it... if you can tame your fear to walk those dark woods and face the unknown.

๐Ÿต PILE 4: CHASM + Ace of Cups ๐Ÿต

The chasm is a symbol of fear and risk. We may come across them in life when we are yearning for success, but know there's a big gap between, "Yay, I want to do XYZ!" and, "Yay, I've actually done XYZ!"; that gap is the unknown. The risk between. Yes, we can be assured that we'll never fail if we never take a risk. But we often don't find success unless we take risks, either. Success isn't fed by the absence of fear, it's what we did despite it.

The Ace of Cups is a wonderful card in terms of your emotional, relationship, and heart related matters this week. All Aces represent beginnings, and this Ace is a blessing of a new beginning in these areas. Perhaps the fear outlined by the Chasm card is the fear of starting a new relationship, of acknowledging a new feeling, or starting something new in general. But the Ace of Cups upright is a forecast of it turning out well, should you wish to take that leap. Your mantra this week should be: "If I can brave a risk, my cup will runneth over.".

Lone Pine Tarot

โ›…๐ŸŒฒ Monday Morning Lookout (Jun 1 - Jun 7) ๐ŸŒฒโ›…

๐Ÿ For our community busy bees: pick a pile using the images attached, then peek below to get a quick glimpse into your week ahead. Also, this week we're using Tarot and Geomancy instead of Tarot and an Oracle deck; I thought it'd be fun to shake things up a bit. ๐Ÿ™‚

๐Ÿ’ญ PILE 1: NINE OF SWORDS + Albus (Geomancy) ๐Ÿ’ญ

This is a very Air, Mercury, and Gemini dominated week (in terms of element, planet, and astrological associations); both the Nine of Swords and Albus in Geomancy are associated with these. Therefore, the week ahead will be full of triumphs and tests of the mind and communication, and you are advised to both lean into the power of intellect and logic, but... to also be wary of when it may spiral out of control, hence, your Nine of Swords.

The Nine of Swords is a card of anxiety, nightmares, and worry, and represents when the Air element is out of balance or overtakes too much. Perhaps you are facing a week where you know you will have an important speech to make, an important test to take or class to pass, or you can already perceive some logical challenge headed your way. Whatever it is, you may be feeling anxious about it. The Nine of Swords advices you that your worries may be unfounded, and Albus - albeit a passive, weaker sigil - does tend towards favorable outcomes, especially in matters that require reflection and careful thought.

To summarize: think carefully this week, but also: don't overthink to the point of anxiety, either. Choose deep thinking combined with action over A. thinking too much and taking no action, or B. taking impulsive action with no thinking.

๐Ÿ’ซ PILE 2: SEVEN OF CUPS + Fortuna Major (Geomancy) ๐Ÿ’ซ

This is a week of great fortune... IF you are able to parse illusions from reality when it comes to your dreams and emotions. Fortuna Major is the most favorable sigil in Geomancy, and suggests a week of great success, especially with things that have taken a while to grow or achieve. It also reminds us that, if we are just starting something, it may take a while to find success, but when it does, it will be ultimate.

However, the Seven of Cups offers some advice. The Seven of Cups is a card that warns against staying too long in positions of daydreaming, hesitating with our dreams, or following what we (or others!) think we want over what we truly, deeply want. Your challenge this week is to decide what DO you want, and how are you going to go for it? Because if you act on it this week, Fortuna Major is a promise of great success.

Additionally, if you've been wondering when to launch a dream and have been hemming and hawing over a start date... this week is an alarm blaring at a starting line for you to go, go, GO, now. Take advantage of the stars being in your favor with Fortune Major this week.

๐Ÿฒ PILE 3: SEVEN OF SWORDS + Caput Draconis (Geomancy) ๐Ÿฒ

Caput Draconis translates to the 'head of the dragon'. The other names used in history for this sigil translated to 'stepping inside' or 'entering a threshold'. Naturally, this means to begin something, to cross over into the new, to journey to the next room. Therefore, this is a great week of luck for matters where you're doing new things or starting new adventures, although not so favorable if you're trying to end something.

The interesting twist to your week comes from the Seven of Swords. This card usually means deception, sabotage, evasion, but also sometimes cleverness in how we may be reminded to use a similar fox-like energy to address our challenges this week, and perhaps use a back door instead of a front one.

Because of the combination of Caput Draconis meaning to enter a new door, and the Seven of Swords being a card where, naturally, front doors are not used, you also may find opportunities this week in taking a route less traveled, or finding what you seek by going through 'back doors' of sorts instead of direct approaches. Conversely, be aware of where others may be using 'back doors' in your life, especially for deceptive reasons, and especially in matters where new ventures are concerned.

๐ŸŒณ PILE 4: TEMPERANCE + Carcer (Geomancy) ๐ŸŒณ

The word 'carcer' in Latin translates to 'prison' (hence, the English word 'incarcerate', for example). Whether or not this is favorable for your week depends on what you're desiring. If you desire safety and security, all matters related to that will be favorable. If you're looking for movement or change, Carcer suggests those energies may be blocked this week. In other words, strong roots keep a tree from falling, but they also keep a tree from moving, too; this is the energy of this sigil.

Temperance is a card of balance, moderation, and opposites coming together to create harmony, like fire and water, or earth and air, hot and cold, soft and hard, and so on. You may find that this is a week of balancing extremes or two very different things/groups/goals and blending them into one cohesive whole. If you meet blockages this week, follow Temperance's advice!

Also, consider the advice of Carcer and Temperance combined: when you find yourself frustrated by a lack of change or movement this week, ask yourself, "In what ways is staying in place or being stuck in a middle position possibly a benefit, rather than a hindrance?". This may also be a good week to stay home, stay cozy, and ask, "What can I do improve the balance of my environment, here, right now?".

โ›…๐ŸŒฒ Monday Morning Lookout (May 18 - May 24) ๐ŸŒฒโ›…

๐Ÿ For our community busy bees: pick a pile using the images attached, then peek below to get a quick glimpse into your week ahead.

----

๐Ÿ”ฅ PILE 1: WILLOW + Knight of Wands ๐Ÿ”ฅ

You may have recently been trying to make great strides towards something you're passionate about, but while the Knight of Wands' direct, fiery energy is a positive thing in this situation, sometimes blending the elements in our approach is an even better way to achieve our goals. This is where willow comes in; flexible, yet ever sturdy where it stands beside water.

Instead of tackling your problems head on this week, try the adaptable approach. Like the willow, bend and flex around obstacles, rather than just trying to crash through them. Fire doesn't always follow the straightest path to its goal; sometimes, it has to follow where the kindling allows it to grow, even if that means over winding turns rather than simple A to B methods.

In terms of synchronicities this week, look for these signs: trees beside water, items that represent flexibility, fire, and the color orange.

----

๐ŸŽ€ PILE 2: BRAMBLE + Six of Cups ๐ŸŽ€

This week may address problems from the past that you're currently dreading or not looking forward to. It may relate to family, old friends, or people you knew from long ago, too; perhaps a meal you're having them over for or joining them at. Additionally, you may feel a tendency to want to perform for them, donning a mask and playing the perfect host.

Bramble reminds you that despite the curveballs life can throw, or the worries that wend our way, you can - and should - always protect yourself like thick bramble. Not in a pointy, thorny manner, but like a defensive wall. It's okay to protect yourself and keep your boundaries instead of performing with a mask for people. The bramble card also suggests you'll be well-protected from danger this week.

In terms of synchronicities, look for these signs: bramble, thorned plants, walls, tea parties, teddy bears/children's toys, and red ribbons/ties.

----

๐Ÿคซ PILE 3: BRACKEN + Queen of Cups ๐Ÿคซ

This is a week of patience and practicing invisibility; the bracken card represents both. And with the energy of the Queen of Cups, it's especially emphasized with matters related to A. a feminine energy in your life that's a water sign, or B. in areas related to what your heart desires, and knowing what it means when it 'speaks' to you.

In public matters, guard your heart closely, and lean more towards hiding how you feel deep down. Don't disregard it, but shelter it closely against those who might seek to use your desires and feelings against you. Wait patiently before being open about your heart.

In private matters, ask yourself, 'What part of my heart and emotions have I been hiding from myself, and why?'. The answer to these questions will help steer you through this week smoothly. And even if they don't announce themselves boldly at first, practice patience with the more timid parts of your spirit.

For synchronicities this week, look for these signs: ferns/forest undergrowth, turtles, hearts, golden plants, and blue clothing.

----

๐Ÿ PILE 4: OLEANDER + Ten of Pentacles (Reversed) ๐Ÿ

Your message this week is one of warning; oleander is a toxic plant, and the Ten of Pentacles reversed warns of a lack of fulfillment in financial/career matters, or those related to inheritance or passing things down within family. This is not to say that you're destined to have these issues this week, but Spirit is offering this advice to you now so that you can avoid them:

Think before acting. Ask yourself with each important action this week, "SHOULD I do this?". What seems like a perfectly concocted plan may fall apart if we don't think it through, first, especially in regards to the foundations we've built for something. Additionally, when it comes to things that you're owed this week, be aware that if you're not given them, it may actually have been a blessing - or a bullet dodged - in disguise.

For synchronicities this week, look for these signs: poisonous plants, snakes or serpentine creatures, family symbols, stained glass, peaches, and the color orange.

โ›…๐ŸŒฒ Monday Morning Lookout (May 11 - May 17) ๐ŸŒฒโ›…

๐Ÿ For our community busy bees: check these images to pick your pile, then peek below to get a quick glimpse into your week ahead.

----

๐Ÿชฒ PILE 1: BIG BOLD VISION + Page of Pentacles ๐Ÿชฒ

You may have a tendency to want to play it small, or make yourself small, or let others make you feel small this week, especially in the areas of career, finance, or other earthly matters.

But you're encouraged to get LOUD, especially when it comes to exploring opportunities regarding money/job/career that you want to seek or are curious about. It's a time to be bold, and to follow your biggest ideas wherever they lead.

After all, they may be a map guiding you to an 'X' that marks a treasure spot the universe has been waiting for you to find.

In terms of synchronicities this week, look for these signs: coins, bees, scarabs/beetles, references to the Egyptian gods Ra and Horus, and the color gold.

----

๐Ÿ PILE 2: INSPIRATION + Eight of Cups ๐Ÿ

This is a week of new ideas bursting forward like magic, as colorful and wonderful as the emergence of flowers in May (after April's showers). Speaking of storms, it's possible that you have been considering or have already walked away from a situation that no longer serves you.

Take the momentum of leaving that "rain" period to propel you even farther with these ideas, emboldened by the confidence and freedom we often gain after saying 'no more' and walking away from something else.

And no matter how whacky or out of left field the ideas you'll get might seem... you're getting them for a reason. So don't hesitate... follow the weirdness and spontaneity! And have some fun with it now that you're walking on sunshine, instead of through rain.

In terms of synchronicities this week, look for these signs: red flowers, bees, gardens, honey, the song 'Walking on Sunshine', and the color orange.

----

โ˜• PILE 3: RECEIVING + King of Cups โ˜•

When's the last time you asked, "What do I need?". Not on a casual level, but on a deep, underlined, 'NEED' level? You may find yourself forgetting self-care this week; forgetting that beneath everything you do and every role you play, there's a human being that needs rest, sustenance, and receiving, not just giving to everything and everyone else.

The King of Cups especially emphasizes this in the emotional arena. A master of the heart, relationships, and knowing one's own feelings in mature ways, he points you to ask, "Where in my relationships and heart am I not receiving enough?'. Struggles this week in these areas might be signs for you to pay closer attention to what you - remember the magic word - need.

And don't be afraid to give yourself some cheers, even if it's a small self-ritual of a cup of tea, coffee, or whatever drink you prefer that reminds you that, yes, sometimes your cup is empty, and you need to fill it before you can fill the cups of others.

In terms of synchronicities this week, look for these signs: cups (especially if they're empty vs. full), wellsprings of water/fountains/streams and whether they're flowing or stagnant, tea/coffee/drinks, and the color green.

----

๐ŸŽน PILE 4: SHOCK OF THE NEW + Five of Cups ๐ŸŽน

This week will be one where hardships are actually calls to find the new. While we sometimes focus heavily on what we have lost when chaos arrives, within the storm and rain, we often discover afterwards that what seemed like losing something... was actually the universe cleansing away the old to make room for the new and better.

If you find yourself struggling with sadness or hardship this week, your advice is to also follow the new to help heal and withstand the storm. Try a new hobby, go to a new place, or find something that feels refreshing to do instead of stagnant and 'blah'. The positive side of the Five of Cups is just this: while there are three cups spilled, two are offered and waiting that are full, if we would just believe they could be there, turn around, and look; it's difficult to find what we don't first seek.

In terms of synchronicities this week, look for these signs: cemeteries/gravestones, new life, or dichotomies in symbolism that show the dead/old versus the alive/new, plus pianos, sunflowers, and the color silver.
