Three years ago, I walked through the breathtaking meadows of Pahalgam on my honeymoon, holding hands, filled with dreams and love. That place will always hold a piece of my heart.
Today, hearing about the horrific attack and the loss of 26 innocent lives in the same peaceful valley breaks me.
How can a place so full of beauty be touched by such pain?

My heart aches for the victims and their families.
Violence should never have a place in paradise.
May peace return to Pahalgam, and may no one ever have to associate such sacred memories with such sorrow.
