demands snacks,
attacks random objects,

The day is almost here. Less than 24 hours.
Iām officially releasing my music on streaming platforms tomorrow.
I originally planned to drop my parrot themed album first, Life as a Bird Parent, but my distributor suggested starting with a few songs to get things moving.
So the funny parrot songs are coming next.
That full project should be out in about 2 to 3 weeks.

Heyā¦ I havenāt been posting as much lately because Iāve been working on something different and pretty exciting (feels more like anxiety, but Iāll take it lol).š±š«Øš¤·āāļø
So after a lot of thinking, and some very persistent influence from a certain āBaby Bird,ā I finally decided to give this a try.
Some of you have asked if Iād ever make a CD from the little songs I write for my videos just for fun, and that honestly got me thinking.
So I decided to push myself a bit and see where it goes.
Itās going to be a mix of songs about life as a bird parent, or dinosaur parent depending on who you ask, along with a couple of Jasper songs in there too.
In about a week, my music will be on all streaming platforms, where you can listen or download it, and will also be available on Amazon.
My other songs, with a little less ādino birdā influence, will also be going up at the same time, just separately from the bird parent songs.
Iām super nervous and have a lot of anxiety about this, but Iām hoping it brings some joy and a little laughter into your livesā¦ because we all need that sometimes

I wanted to give a quick update on Jasper.
Sorry it took me a little longer than planned to post this.
I just wanted to let everyone know how thankful I am for all the help, support, and check ins.
His x rays turned out okay.
I have another appointment with the vet in a little over a week for a follow up, and to get his nails cut because they are badly overdue.
He is still on a pain med, and he is coming around.
He is still not quite back to his normal self yet, and he is still being very aggressive, but he is starting to calm down.
He actually snuggled up and let me preen him the other day, right up until he attacked my hand again.
My hands have definitely been suffering. They straight up look like a battleground.
I appreciate everyoneās concern, love, and support through this stressful situation.
Thankfully he was not seriously injured, more emotionally shaken up and bruised. But anyone who owns a bird knows it is better to be safe than sorry, especially because they hide when they are hurt.
Any big behavior change, especially how extreme Jasperās change was, is a reason to get everything checked out.

Quick update on Jasper after todayās appointment.
The visit ended up being a little under $200 for the exam and pain medication. His overall physical checkup looked good, which is a relief, but thatās only what they can see on the surface.
The vet does want to do x-rays to make sure thereās nothing internal going on that we canāt see. Unfortunately, I didnāt have enough to do that today. The x-rays will be close to $400, so Iām trying to save up to get that done as soon as I can.
For now, heās on pain medication, and Iām keeping a very close eye on him. Iām attaching screenshots of the paperwork so everything is transparent.
Iām still trying to gather what I can to cover the x-rays and any follow-up care. If anyone is able to help or share, it truly means a lot.

Heyā¦ I really hate posting this, but I need help.
I would do anything for Jasper, even though this feels embarrassing and I hate having to ask for help. I donāt really have a choice right now.
Last night I accidentally stepped on him. He follows me around on the floor like a little duckling and likes to cuddle by my feet, and I didnāt see him when I was walking around my room. It was a complete accident
But I feel horrible.
.
Heās still eating and talking and his poop looks normal, but his behavior is really scaring me. Heās terrified of me, which has never happened in his entire life. He keeps flying away and wonāt come near me, and his breathing seems a little irregular at times. Heās just not acting like himself and Iām really worried something could be wrong that I canāt see.
Iām trying to get him into an avian/exotic vet as soon as possible to make sure heās okay.
Because of my MS, money is extremely tight right now. If anyone is able to help at all with vet costs, even a little, I would be incredibly grateful. If you canāt, sharing this helps more than you know. Thank you.
