My amazing Mother is running an ultra-marathon in the middle of the outback. As with all of her adventures, my old man is following her avidly as a camera-man and they're both sending me content galore for the channel. The next few days are gonna be chock full of iconic Australian landscapes and interesting things they found for me while they were there.

I hope you all enjoy it! Just a reminder, she's 56 years old. And she's running in an ultra-marathon in the desert. Talk about a pound for pound MACHINE.

After three days & 1.6k views, YouTube finally got round to removing the auto-generated flag that had this video demonetized / on "Limited" revenue.

I presume it was because I didn't censor the statue of David 🙄🤣. A rookie mistake on my part I guess.

So my folks are camping at Bathurst for the whole race week (like they'd been doing every year for over a decade before the virus). Since they got back in 2019 they've had plans to take my nephew along with them (because he asked "can I come with you next year?"). Obviously the pandemic changed those plans significantly though.

This year they were finally able to fulfill their promise - go again and take him - and on Thursday Asher said to my Mum in passing "imagine how cool it would be to be rich enough to get a helicopter ride above the track".

Pretty freakin' cool I'd say, wouldn't you? A core memory has been formed. Footage coming for a short in the next lil while (I'll edit the post with a link once it's done exporting).

Couldn't get past this screenshot of Asher mid-flight though hahaha. He told my old man when they got down that he's gonna be a helicopter pilot when he grows up. I wouldn't put it past him either!
