No one was attending this farm stand.
There was a box for cash. I’m assuming it was on the honor system.

The DC to NYC walk is being edited into smaller, bite-sized chapters.

The existing full-length film on the channel is a treatment of my experience following American Ramble and walking in the footsteps of Neil King. These next three chapters are more personal.

Chapter 1 answers the question of why I chose to do this walk.
It drops Saturday, March 28 at 8AM PST.

Chapter 2 is a deeper look at walking through Pennsylvania, both rural and metropolitan.

Chapter 3 focuses on giving oneself permission to let go and simply be.
Though there’s still walking. Plenty of it.

I’ve lived in the Bay Area for decades.

Beyond a few beach days in Santa Cruz, most of this was new to me.

I didn’t grow up around farmland.

Walking through it mile after mile was new to me. And I loved being in it.

I like the old timey maps.

And I’m hoping for more roads in the near future.
