The auspicious time of exams is here. Religiously follow your plans, trust that what you have strategised will work and eventually things will fall in place. If somewhere somehow things go south, consider it a bend and not the end. Stay focused, keep a tunnel vision and spend every ounce of your energy in this pursuit of excellence. When the going gets tough, the tough gets going. You can and you will, it's just a matter of time. Chin up champion, you have a battle to fight. All the best.

This is MUST know to clear in CA Exams!

After having cleared CA and after having spoken to numerous CAs/ CA students, one unanimous conclusion that I've come to is that CA exams are not just a test of your knowledge but also (and sometimes more importantly) a test of your mental strength and temperament. CA is tough - but what makes it tough isn't merely the toughness of the course content but the quantum of the course and the limited time in hand to complete the course.

Considering the aforesaid, I really find it pertinent to share my thoughts and my experience on how to deal with the quantum of the course with the 1.5days before exam, how to be "mentally prepared" for exams such that the exam anxiety doesn't come in the way of your preparation.

WICASA of WIRC of ICAI has organized a free half day webinar on the topic "Getting prepared for CA exams" wherein I shall cover the following:

Approach during the last 30 days before exams
Approach towards mock tests
How to complete the course within 1.5 days before exams
How to write exam papers well and complete them within 3 hours
And MOST important of all, how to be MENTALLY prepared for exams.

The webinar is open for all students irrespective of geography and level within CA - set to appear for exams in May 2023 or Nov 2023.

Please do share the word with your friends as this could turn out to be really useful (for some last minute tips).

Location: Zoom (Virtual)
Date: 1st April 2023 (Saturday)
Time: 4-7pm

MUST READ!

All the best to you for tomorrow's results. The message below is penned by a friend.

Here's some food for thought before the results.

1. When you see the letters PASS in your marksheet, before starting the celebrations, do take a moment to understand the gravity of what you've just accomplished, pay reverence to the set of books you studied from and lastly do not forget to extend your gratitude towards the people who were there for you in your difficult times and in this journey towards the exams. While celebrating be mindful that you do not disrespect or hurt the sentiments of the folks who unfortunately could not clear. If provided, do not miss the opportunity to motivate them.

2. If things do not fall in place and you do not get the desired results (i.e possibly you couldn't secure the marks that you aimed for or couldn't clear the desired number of groups or subjects as the case may be), do not feel upset or heartbroken. Give yourself a day or two for the feeling to sink in and for yourself to become focused again. Understand that the result does not define who you are, it just depicts how you fared in those 3 hours of examination. As the famous saying for the curriculum goes, 'CA exams are like a match of boxing, you do not lose when you fall, you lose when you refuse to get up'. Do not lose hope because it's just a bend and not the end.

Thanks for patiently reading the post in it's entirety.

Best wishes for your results.
