چند روز قبل ہمارے وطن کے نامور ادیب، شاعر اور ڈرامہ نگار منظر امام صاحب انتقال فرما گئے۔
منظر صاحب اس قوم کے لیے ایک اثاثہ تھے۔ ان کے کئی افسانے برِصغیر کے مختلف رسالوں میں شائع ہوتے رہے ہیں اور ان کے بہت سے ڈرامے پاکستان ٹیلیوژن پر نشر ہوچکے ہیں جن میں عید ٹرین، یس سر نو سر، پسِ آئینہ، ہنستے ہنستے اور تنہا تنہا شامل ہیں۔
منظر صاحب کے ساتھ ہمارا گہرا تعلق اور رفاقت تھی۔ وہ ای۔آر۔ڈی۔سی کی مختلف نشستوں میں تشریف لایا کرتے اور ہمیں بارہا ان کی لکھی ہوئی تحریریں ان کی زبانی سننے کا موقع ملا۔ ان کے افسانوں میں جہاں طنز و مزاح کا پہلو پایا جاتا ہے وہیں معاشرے پر گہرا تبصرہ اور بامعنی تنقید بھی موجود ہے۔ وہ اپنی تحریروں کے ذریعے سامعین کو بیک وقت ہنسانے اور رلانے کی لیاقت رکھتے تھے۔
منظر امام صاحب کی کئی کہانیاں ان کی آواز میں ہمارے یوٹیوب چینل پر موجود ہیں۔ ان کا لنک نیچے دیا جا رہا ہے۔
