He briefed her on the growth of India’s aviation sector and the government’s continued efforts, under the visionary leadership of Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji, to make air connectivity more inclusive, efficient, and accessible across the nation.
The Ministry has launched the One Airport One Product initiative to advance the Vocal for Local vision. The initiative highlights unique regional items that showcase India’s cultural and entrepreneurial strength at airports. Through this, we aim to promote indigenous products, support local artisans and small businesses, and strengthen regional economies.
Hon’ble Minister Shri Ram Mohan Naidu joined the walkthrough of the upcoming Noida International Airport (Jewar) along with the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, Shri Yogi Adityanath, and officials from the central and state governments, the airport operator, and security agencies, as part of a review ahead of its inauguration in the near future.
The Minister directed officials to ensure the quick resolution of the last pending issues and to expedite the remaining works, with special emphasis on safety and security.

The meeting underscored the shared commitment of India and the Maldives to strengthening regional connectivity, ensuring the timely completion of development projects, and fostering greater cooperation for mutual growth.
As part of the Vigilance Awareness Campaign 2025, the Ministry of Civil Aviation organized a series of insightful lectures on crucial topics such as ‘Investigation and Reporting’ and ‘Conducting CTE-Type Investigations.’
In alignment with the Central Vigilance Commission’s (CVC) proposed themes for this year, the sessions aimed to deepen understanding of the core functions and responsibilities of vigilance divisions. Through these interactive and informative discussions, officials and employees gained valuable insights into key investigative processes, enhancing transparency, accountability, and integrity in organizational functioning.
In line with the nationwide celebrations to mark 150 years of our National Song “Vande Mataram”, officials also joined the live telecast of the Hon’ble Prime Minister’s address from the Inaugural Ceremony held at Indira Gandhi Indoor Stadium, New Delhi.
The soulful chorus of “Vande Mataram” echoed the spirit of unity, patriotism, and collective pride that continues to inspire the nation.
In line with the nationwide celebrations to mark 150 years of our National Song “Vande Mataram”, the Ministry of Civil Aviation organised a Mass Singing of “Vande Mataram” today at Aviation Park, Rajiv Gandhi Bhawan, New Delhi.
Secretary (Civil Aviation) joined the officers and staff in the soulful rendition of the National Song.
