Thank you, everyone, for the wonderful farewell event. Special thanks to Parth Jamkhedkar and Sarveshwar Kohale for their constant dedication. Their efforts to make this event successful were truly overwhelming.
Today, I step back from my position as the GDSC Lead of GDSC JNEC . Being a GDSC Lead has been a life-changing experience for me. I still remember the day I received the selection results. The first person I called was my dad Shafiyoddin Sayyad . I told him, "I got selected, but I don't think I'll be able to dedicate enough time to this because I'm an introvert," and shared all my concerns. He motivated me to continue, and with a clear mind, I devised a plan.
During my time as lead, I'm proud that I was able to inspire many people, provide a starting point for those who discovered their potential, and achieve significant milestones: Tier 1 in Google Cloud Study Jams, Gold Tier in the Discover, Design and Develop campaign, top 100 in the Solutions Challenge, and 10 teams selected for the India Regional Bootcamp. I also received numerous honors and gifts from Google and was even invited to promote the Solutions Challenge on Twitter. Thanks to Nikita Gandhi Ma'am and Hack2skill , I met many fellow leads such as Suraj Nagre, Ganesh Kharde , Dayeeta Chakravorty , Riddhi Vernekar , Anish Shobith P S , Prince Gupta, Tharunya Pathipati , Divyanshu Raj ,Kritika Taank and Ankana Chakraborty. We also had fun organizing a podcast on the official Diversity in GDSC YT channel.
The day I became the GDSC Lead, I called Sarveshwar Kohale , who has known me since our first year, and he was the right person for administration. I am truly thankful for his contributions during this tenure. I was able to manage GDSC many times without being physically present because of him.
I would also like to thank the core team Sarthak Shitole , Sarthak Kashikar , Aashika Thole , Parth Jamkhedkar , Aishwarya Deshmukh and the technical team for their dedication and hard work in making our events successful. Additionally, I am truly grateful to @Dr. Deepa Deshpande Ma'am for guiding us and helping us make this not just a successful tenure but one of the best GDSC tenures. Special thanks to Sandip Kankal sir and @Sukhwant Kaur Ma'am for contributing as a faculty advisor. Advait Danke & Ananya R gave fabulous sessions during the code crusaders event.
The main contributors to GDSC are the participants and members. Without their support and interest, we couldn't have made this possible. Lastly, I would like to thank MGM University for always supporting us in making this club successful.
