One of the strangest things I've ever seen in the night sky. 😱🌌

I was in my village enjoying the clear night sky when something completely unexpected caught my eye.

A broad beam of light slowly started rising from the northeastern horizon. It wasn't a thin laser beam. It was a wide glow that kept stretching higher into the sky. It slowly moved toward the south, passed almost right over me, and then faded away after a few minutes.

The strangest part was that I could still see the stars through the glow. I quickly took out my phone and managed to record it.

At first, I had no idea what I was looking at. It was completely silent, so it didn't seem like an aircraft. It also didn't look like a meteor or anything I'd seen before.

Later, I looked into it and found that there had been a Starlink launch earlier that day. From what I found, the glow looked very similar to sunlight illuminating a rocket's exhaust high above Earth, even though it was already dark where I was. I can't say for sure that's what I saw, but based on what I found, it seems like the most likely explanation.

Whatever it was, it's something I'll never forget.
