Rainbow Girls 🌈✨

Rainbow Girls is an indie animation project I started creating when I was 13 years old. The story follows Purple, a girl who feels like she doesn’t fit into the gray world she lives in. While walking her dog Brown, she discovers a magical place called Rainbow Land and meets Blue, Yellow, and Pink. As the girls become friends, they each gain amazing superpowers—Blue can control water, Yellow can communicate with animals, and Pink gains super speed. Thanks to Yellow’s power, Brown learns how to talk too!

Purple feels left out because she doesn’t receive a superpower like her friends do. She becomes sad and wonders why everyone else has something special except her. But by the end of the episode, Purple discovers her own power: organization. Finally, she realizes that she belongs in Rainbow Land with her friends. Surrounded by people who care about her, Purple feels happy, accepted, and learns that everyone has their own unique gifts—even if they take a little longer to discover.

Rainbow Girls is the original project. I started creating it when I was only 13 years old, and now I’m 18! Back then, it was just drawings, characters, and ideas in my head. Over the years, it has grown into a real indie animation project that my mom and I have been working hard on bringing to life.

Rainbow Boys came later. As I kept building the world of Rainbow Girls, I realized I wanted to create more characters and more stories. That’s how Rainbow Boys was born!

Even though they take place in the same universe, Rainbow Girls and Rainbow Boys are their own separate shows. The characters don’t start off knowing each other. In fact, at the beginning, the Rainbow Girls and Rainbow Boys are living completely different adventures.

Purple’s story starts in Gray City before she discovers Rainbow Land, while the Rainbow Boys have their own journeys happening at the same time.

Think of it like two different shows happening in the same world. 🌎✨

Sometimes there may be crossover episodes where the Rainbow Girls and Rainbow Boys meet and go on adventures together, but they are still their own series with their own characters and stories.

Right now, Rainbow Girls is the main project we’re focusing on, and we’re working toward getting a pilot made. Rainbow Boys is a newer project that I’m still developing and adding ideas to as I go.

Creating one indie animation project is a lot of work. Creating two connected projects is even more work! 😅 But I love these characters and this world, and I’m excited to keep building it.
