Chief Minister V D Satheesan had consistently opposed KIIFB. Now that he is also the finance minister, what will he do to KIIFB. Winding up the Board all of a sudden is out of question. But he has two options. One, he can cap KIIFB at Rs 50,000 or Rs 60,000 crore and prevent it from taking on too many projects. As it stands, projects over Rs one lakh crore have been announced.
