Happy April! It's time to get a poll going for this month's member's-choice-project, but it's going to be something slightly different this time and I need your help!



We are officially in BUSY season. Most of the conventions I work with all happen in May, and there is a lot of prep to do. I'll be making a couple new Lifesize creations anyways, but I don't really have the time to add in an extra one that you all get to pick. So INSTEAD you are all going to help me pick which Pokemon props I'm going to make for my biggest public appearance of the year.



At the end of May I will be setting up a huge display at Anime North (Toronto, Ontario). It will feature a bunch of my Lifesize Creations, but it will also go beyond that as more of a museum exhibit experience.

Part of this will be a collection of recreated in-world "pokemon merch." Things like Pokedolls, or the Squirtbottle. Things that characters have inside the games, anime, tcg, that are lifestyle items based on Pokemon.

And there are so many good ones. One of my personal favourites it Kofu's Venonat wallet from Scarlet&Violet. But what I want to know is YOUR favourites. It can be from any official source (Pokemon Go has a TON of good accessories). The top 4 options will go to vote as this month's poll, and I will make it!

BUG MONTH 🪲

Folks it's the final day of BUG MONTH and I've been meaning to post about my bug Pokemon, particularly my Lifesize Snom. So when ‪@WolfeyVGC‬ shared a cool bug fact of Snom I saw my opportunity to steal his graphic and insert my own work LOL.

Also featuring my Lifesize Joltik, and a squad of mini Grubbin I made for Community Day way back when. These are all the bugs I've made. More to come in the future!

HAPPY POKEMON DAY

I may not have my Snorlax finished just yet, but I got his head finished for today. It's only slightly disembodied XD But it gives us a good scale image to picture the full thing! Cat for scale in the last pic.

More excited than ever to keep working having watched the Pokemon Direct this morning. What are we all most excited about from this morning's announcements? (You can't all day Pombon)

After a long weekend, by time I got home last night I forget I had been considering streaming lol.

If you were hanging out live last night, this is the set of teams I was thinking of!

I was trying to remember on stream last night which Pokemon I had decided we're on Katzer's official team. Shinx is the one I couldn't remember!! I can't believe I forgot my precious kitten 😭

Top row is a party team. The Pokemon I think are ready to have a good time.
Middle row is my baby team. Just like guys, because I have such a fondness for basic pokemon (and they're so much more realistic to crochet xD)
Bottom line is the "grown up" team that could actually holds its own in battle lol

But now I'm conflicted. Because I don't want to bump Shinx. But I do kind of want the litwick on my team now... 😬
