I did a little work out in the garden this morning, and while I was at it, I picked a bunch of tomatoes! 🍅
I’ve been enjoying the Husky Cherry tomatoes for a few weeks now… but these are my first two Celebrity tomatoes. I picked them right at the breaker stage, and I’m going to leave them on my kitchen windowsill to ripen. Hoping I’ll be able to slice into them this weekend!
Hope everyone has a great Friday, and I’ll see you in the next video!
A quick thank you to one of my subscribers who shared this event with me... passing it along so the whole community can enjoy it!

Hey everyone, I won’t be posting a long‑form video this weekend. I spent the week in Nashville celebrating a friend’s birthday. I thought I’d have enough time to film something when I got home on Friday, but I ended up taking the day to rest.
That said, I did do a little gardening this morning… I helped a friend redo a section of her front yard. We planted the space with a cardboard palm and some colorful bromeliads. We also added a pair of foxtail ferns in containers on either side of her front entryway. See pictures below!
I hope you all have a great weekend, and I’ll see you in the next video!
Hey everyone, I won’t be uploading a long‑form video this weekend. I took this week off because my mom is in town visiting from California.
We checked out the town of DeLand, Florida yesterday (about an hour north of Orlando) and stumbled upon the coolest plant store called Newfangled Modern Market. They had all kinds of rare and exotic houseplants (see pictures below). My favorites were the begonias… check out the last picture… that plant with the raised black cones on the leaves is called a Begonia ferox. Its leaves might look hard and spikey, but they were actually really soft!
I hope you all have a great weekend, and I’ll see you in the next video!

Hey everyone, I hope you’re doing well. I just wanted to let you know that I won’t be posting a long-form video this weekend. I decided to take this week off… my garden is still in recovery mode from the epic Florida freeze, and in some cases it’s actually gotten worse since my last update video. 😩
It’s been really hard to find the motivation to get outside and film anything with my yard looking like such a mess. Luckily, looking at the 10‑day forecast, I think the worst of the cold weather is finally behind us. 😁
In any case, here are two pictures of iced over fountains in my neighborhood from the freeze. I never thought I’d see icicles like that in Orlando! 🥶
I hope you all have a great rest of your week, and I’ll see you in the next video!!
Hey everyone, just a heads up… I won’t be posting a long‑form video this weekend.
I’m actually back in California again, this time for my sister’s 40th birthday! We’re staying in Southern California, in the Temecula Wine Country. We rented a really cool house on a little 5‑acre vineyard. It’s really peaceful here… lots of chirping birds and beautiful views of rolling hills covered in grapevines. I snapped a few photos from the back patio while drinking coffee this morning… if you look closely, you can see a few hot air balloons up in the sky!
Hope you all have a great weekend, and I’ll see you in the next video!
Hey Florida gardeners, it’s supposed to get really cold tonight! Make sure your yard and gardens are ready... cover any cold sensitive plants with frost cloths, bed sheets or bath towels! I’ll be prepping my yard this afternoon, I plan to film my cold prep process for this weekend’s video.
Hope everyone stays warm… it looks like the colder nights will be with us for the next several days! 🥶❄️
Hey everyone, hope you all had yet another great week! I just wanted to give you a heads‑up that I won’t be posting a long‑form video this weekend. I did go plant shopping and picked up some awesome plants for a refresh project… but I wasn’t able to get them in the ground. I held off because we had some chilly nights here in Orlando. The temperature dipped into the mid to low 30s, and I didn’t want to stress the plants out.
As a consolation, here are some update pictures of my fall front planters. The multicolored coleus, white begonias, and wire vines are still going strong! They’re definitely a bright spot in my front yard garden at the moment. The third picture is the sunset from Friday night (01/02/26)!!
I hope you’re all staying warm, I hope you had a happy New Year, and I’ll see you all in the next video!

Hey everyone! I’m testing something new this week, instead of my usual Saturday morning upload, I’m trying a mid‑week video upload.
Do you prefer weekday evening videos or weekend videos? Your feedback will help me decide if I should adjust my weekly long-form video schedule.
