If you’re hanging out with unbelievers, and the purpose isn’t to reflect Christ or lead them closer to Him… what are you really doing there?

The Bible doesn’t support casual mixing with the world.
It says

“Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers.” (2 Corinthians 6:14)
“Bad company corrupts good morals.” (1 Corinthians 15:33)



Jesus sat with sinners, yes but He didn’t sit to blend in. He sat to call them out of darkness.

So here’s the hard question
Are we influencing them toward Christ, or are they influencing us away from Him?

Hey everyone I’ve been observing recently how public moments of a “sword” being given (or used as a symbol) are cropping up in some ministries — for instance with pastors like Joshua Selman and Jerry Eze (both of whom reportedly received swords from Nicholas Duncan‑Williams). There's also mention of Stephanie Ike Okafor being commissioned into a new season of ministry which some interpret similarly as a symbolic “sword” moment.

I want us to probe this together: what could these gestures mean? Are they purely symbolic, or do they carry deeper spiritual/ritual implications? What does the Bible say about “swords” in the Christian life and what questions should we ask ourselves as believers when we see them used in ministry?

I invite you: Let’s use this as an opportunity to dig deeper into our own spiritual walk. Not merely what happens on stage, but how we engage with Scripture, how we walk in authority, how we live out our calling.

THE GOSPEL OF GREED.
It’s heartbreaking to see how far deception has gone in our generation. Many no longer open the Bible to know God they open it to manipulate others. Verses are twisted to justify greed, to stir emotions, to make people sow into lies… while the deceivers grow richer, and the people grow emptier.

What’s even more painful?
The crowd still claps.
They shout “Amen!”
They dance and scream, not realizing they’re celebrating their own deception.

We have entered a time where charisma is mistaken for anointing, and entertainment has replaced truth. But remember this: God’s Word was never meant to be used for profit it was meant to bring transformation.

If the message exalts a man more than it exalts Christ,
if it stirs your emotions but never convicts your heart,
then it’s not the Word it’s manipulation dressed in scripture.

May our eyes open.
May our hearts return to truth.
Because not every voice that quotes the Bible speaks for God.

There are families where no one ever rises, no matter how talented they are.
You’ll see a pattern businesses collapse at the same stage, marriages fall apart in the same way, and every generation starts from zero again.

That’s not coincidence… it’s a spiritual inheritance.
The same way blessings can be passed down through a family, so can bondage. Until those covenants are broken, a person can pray, fast, and still wonder why their life feels stuck in a cycle of limitation.

It’s time to confront the roots, not just the symptoms.
You cannot rebuild your life if the foundation is cursed.
But thank God the blood of Jesus speaks a better word than the bloodline you came from.
