I don’t take it for granted.

Offlate good things have been happening by itself.

- New ideas
- New growth
- New hobbies
- New connections
- New experiences
- New achievements

I don’t think it’s just because of my work.

I think these are given to me so they can be given to the world through me.

It’s not being given to me.
It’s being given through me. - is what I believe!

This photo is one of those experiences I’m talking about - we were invited to meet the Honourable Governor of Tamilnadu at his residence this month!

I repeat - I don’t take it for granted.

Happy Republic Day!

Life update: Flew private for the first time.

I have a strong feeling that this is not going to be the last.

We’ve made peace with the fact that we are two crazy people born in one family.

Everytime I see this photo, it brings back a rush of memories.

That’s me, mom and my brother Shatheeshram Ganapathy

This photo had to be taken for my mom’s employment after dad’s passing. And mom had to borrow money to even pay for this photo. We were at our lowest and they were difficult times.

Thankfully mom stood firm in getting us both, good education and exposure.

What I saw as difficulty, I see as a blessing now.

- It’s a blessing to see what hunger can do.
- It’s a blessing to see what poverty looks like.
- It’s a blessing to know what’s want and what’s need.
- It’s a blessing to know what world will do when you are of no use to it.
- It’s a blessing to know how people treat you when you have nothing.
- It’s a blessing to not get what you want while what you need itself is in question.

… all before you turn 8 years old!

All things considered, we turned out pretty good. We’ve come a long way as a family.

There is no day I haven’t felt grateful to have been brought up poor. 🙂

That “ஆசை இல்ல அண்ணாச்சி, பசி” moment!

Time flies.

Literally.

We are almost in the end of the year.
November is here. Just two months left for new year.

You don't need to wait until New Year to make a new resolution and get things in order.

You can start today.

- Do the things that you promised yourself that you'd do this year.
- Make yourself proud by action and accomplishment and not just by ability.

10 months down, 2 to go.

Also, if you start today, you’ll be much ahead of people who wait to make a new year resolution to start.

I repeat, you have 60 full days.

Make it count.

Onwards and upwards. 🚀

P.S.: This post is a note to self.

The world operates in dualities.

day - night
sun - moon
light - dark
hot - cold

If there is a good product, there will be a bad product.
If there is a good service provider, there will be a bad service provider.

If good people don't talk about their good products, bad people will talk about their bad products in a good way and sell their bad products.

Bad people who speak about their products are not the only ones to blame.
Good people who don't speak about their products are the ones to blame.

If you have a good product, and if you don't talk about it, it's a betrayal to your market.

If you have a good product, it is your moral responsibility to speak about your good product.

Branding and marketing is not a business necessity.
Branding and marketing is a moral necessity.

Speak about your product or service everywhere.
Shout from the rooftops, if need be!

The greatest challenge you’ll ever face is having to win despite of yourself.

What can't be measured, can't be scaled!

Most organic marketing methods are difficult to measure

- banners
- pamphlets
- public relations
- content creation
- influencer marketing

That's why a mix of organic and paid marketing would be the best for any business model.

If you are in B2B,

- Write blogs
- Write on LinkedIn
- Run email campaigns
- Nurture with email newsletters
- Repeat

If you are in B2C,

- Create on YouTube
- Create on Instagram
- Run Google ads and retarget YouTube viewers
- Run Meta ads and retarget Instagram audience
- Repeat

I know a D2C founder who has over 600K Instagram followers and gets over 10M impressions every month.

He sells T-shirts and he retargets his audience through meta ads.
His combined return on ad spends (ROAS) is 8.

In a world where D2C businesses find it difficult to run profitably, a ROAS of 8, seems like magic.

Simply, combination of organic + paid marketing works like clockwork.
