Obedience is not waiting.

I know that is not what we have been taught. We have been told to wait on God. To be still. To not move ahead of His timing.

And there is truth in that.

But there is also a version of waiting that is not faith.

It is fear.

It is the version where you have been praying about the same idea for two years and still have not started. Where you are waiting to feel ready. Waiting for more confirmation. Waiting for the conditions to be perfect.

That is not obedience. That is avoidance dressed in spiritual language.

The moment you decided to finally build what God told you to build — did everything get harder?
