Hi I’m Jay — a lifelong old car enthusiast sharing the things I'm excited about!
With almost 3 decades working in the aftermarket auto parts industry, I’ve spent a ton of time learning how automotive systems work. I began working on my first car at the age of 14 with limited funds so I had to learn to do the work myself. I’m an Air-Cooled Volkswagen guy at heart, but I work on all sorts of old car and other mecanical projects — from metal fabrication and engine work to component testing and repair.
I believe the more you can do yourself, the better off you are and I’ve learned most of what I know by doing it the hard way, one mistake at a time. If you're into antique car restoration, DIY fixes, and learning as you go, you’re in the right place.
Subscribe and join me in the barn and on the road as we keep this old stuff going!
Thanks for watching — Jay

Just a quick update, I don’t have a video this week..
I’ve had a big change in my day-job schedule with more responsibilities, and it’s taking a bit of adjustment time.
Since I will never stop working on old cars the channel will continue to move forward, but posting may be a little less consistent for a while. I’ll share videos as often as I can.
Thanks so much to all the regulars who continue to watch and support the channel. I truly appreciate you all. Jay

Hey Guys, I have the perfect snow day video for you tomorrow!
This one is a deep dive, not a quick one, but adjusting rear torsion bars is one of those jobs where details really matter.
Thanks to everyone who sticks around for the longer tech videos. I put these together to help you get an idea of whats involved so you can do the job right way the first time as easily as possable! - Jay
