In the 1970’s there was ONE supplement the Soviets were using that western athletes were NOT.

Their scientists discovered that it boosted explosive strength, power and lean muscle, with zero negative side effects.

It didn’t come to the attention of western athletes until 1992 when British sprinter Linford Christie won the 100 meter gold medal at the Barcelona Olympics, after which it spread like wildfire.

This magical supplement was CREATINE.

My channel is currently partnered with the world’s ONLY PhD-led creatine specialist, CREATE Wellness.

So you all get a 20% discount on any of their creatine powder, gummies, and creatine + electrolyte blends using code: WILDHUNT

Did you know the treadmill was originally invented as a torture device (and miniature power plant)?

This old mill in Brisbane was powered by Australian convicts running for 14 hour shifts on mechanical treadmills as a form of punishment and free power.

This mill was also built by convicts - and as a former construction worker, I’d say they actually did an amazing job.

A couple years ago I unexpectedly lost my Dad and both of my best friends, in short succession.

And in that time - outside of brief moments, like my 800 mile ultramarathon - I haven’t felt or acted quite like myself.

It’s been a challenge to keep putting one foot in front of the other each day when I wake up - and I apologize to anyone I’ve let down.

Know that I’m grateful for your support during that time.

But understand this:

I am back, and a new era of Wild Hunt has begun.

PS- if you want to check out the video following the 800 mile ultramarathon I mentioned above, you can watch it here:

I know it's popular on YouTube and social media for people to invent details about ancient warriors and their training - but my content only deals with REAL history.

You'll never heard me make clickbait-themed claims like "the Ancient Greeks built muscles without weight training" when we have discoveries like the Epainetos and Akmatidas haltere weights (ancient dumbbell/kettlebell weights) and countless written and artistic references to athletes doing standardized training with both.

The goal of my page is to help you guys become the Warrior Athletes that you seek to be - not to generate cheap clicks.

So be wary of what information you allow into your mind.

And if you want to learn the truth about what VIKING warriors ate, without any invented details, feel free to check out my latest video:

The Vikings may have had the perfect warrior athlete diet.

My latest video breaks down the Viking approach to carbohydrates, fats, and protein, including their specific sources of the grains, dairy, meat, fish, fruit, and survival foods that powered one of history’s most feared warrior cultures.

This is not a fantasy “Viking diet” trend. This is what the historical evidence suggests — and why it still matters for modern training, recovery, and performance.

Go check it out, and then let me know what you’d like to see next on my channel.

I’m currently down in Australia on a research trip, and I came across this in a grocery store.

Since we all know sugar is bad for you, I take it upon myself to solemnly accept the task of destroying this monstrosity.

The battle begins…

In all seriousness, sugar isn’t something you should consume large amounts of - but it’s not the devil either.

When I was running ultramarathons, we often used sugar (even hyper-potent mixes made specifically for long range endurance athletes).

But for the average athlete or person who works out, having some sugar now and then is fine. It’s just best to think of sugar as jet fuel:

A potent and easily consumed fuel source that can act as targeted fuel (particularly immediately before and after workouts) - but can also turn against if you if not used properly.
