Projection Painting – live-painted light art projections for concerts, opera & architecture.

Kopffarben is a Berlin-based artist collective (Julia Schäfer & Johannes Schmidt) creating large-scale painted projections as visual stage design for orchestras, opera, music theatre and immersive installations. Unlike projection mapping, our visuals are rooted in painting - created live on stage or in the studio.

Featured productions: Mendelssohn "Die erste Walpurgisnacht" & "Ein Sommernachtstraum", Beethoven "Sinfonia Eroica", Vivaldi "Die vier Jahreszeiten".
