Welcome! If you want to hear sound demos of different synths, this is the place!

I started doing sound demo videos on YT in 2022, since I felt it was the main thing that interested me, when I'm looking around for some old synth to test. I did not care so much for fancy videos, I only wanted to hear what it sounded like in stereo sound. Started with demoing the Roland Jupiter-Xm, when the new OS version 3 was released in April 2022, and at the same time that helped me discover that synth, which ended up being part of my live rig set. Here we are 2 years later, still posting sound demo videos of different synths and modules. And still occasionally trying to figure out where I'm going with this channel. :-)

Thanks for watching and following!

I updated the #behringerubxa to firmware 2 (or as the synth says 0.003.117) and did a few videos on the Bank B sounds. Check it out here!

2 weeks ago my Behringer UB-Xa was delivered to me. It was a synth I've been looking forward to, since it has been really interesting to follow the development of the synth, seeing the prototypes and hearing demos of among others @Bruening during testing and prototyping. Last Friday I uploaded the first part, and this morning the next.

Is this the best price/value of any analog synth at the moment, especially with 16-voice polyphony? Listen to the sound demos and tell me what you think!

This very nice looking synth finally arrived last week! I've been on the fence, should I get this or not, since I have a Prophet 08 and a Pro-800 already. However, 16-voice polyphony and a poly aftertouch keybed were the 2 things that pushed my to finally order it. I've never had a poly aftertouch synthesizer before and sometimes I also felt that my two other 8-voice analog polys could to with some extra voices. And since the original Oberheims are both expensive to buy - and expensive to service - this homage to the OB looks really tempting on paper. Is it as good in real life? We are here to find out.

For the record: I've never played an original Oberheim, so I can't really compare. I'll play this synth for what it is, based on its own merits. And for the synth nerds: the first set of videos is done using firmware version 1 (0.003.058) and only after the 1st session did I update to version 2 (0.003.117) which features even better OBXa sound apparently...

What do you think? Please comment and of course, like and subscribe :-)
A few of this first session videos coming up.

Hi everyone! And welcome to my channel! I recently got access to the community part, so thought I would drop a few lines every now and then.

Thanks for following and reading! Check out my most recent videos featuring Yamaha CS1x, yo (because it is so 90s)? https://youtu.be/v5xssLN-a5I
