We are Crys & Trish, a married same-sex couple, working on the homesteading journey while living with stage 4 metastatic breast cancer. Crys was diagnosed with stage 4 mbc in April 2024, just a few small years into our homestead journey. Now we are learning to live in all kinds of new ways. Follow us on our 5 wooded acres in North Florida with our old RV and five (yes, 5) cats.

The holiday celebrations are being postponed till after the New Year. Feeling kind of "bah humbug" around here. Trish has been a bit under the weather this week. Influenza A has her all kinds of icky. She's finally able to sit up & be awake for longer periods of time to get some editing work done so we can get you some new videos out to you.

Crys had a full hysterectomy on Nov. 5th & is recovering wonderfully at home.
This is a small way to help us fund Crys' cancer life. Outside of crazy co-pays, treatments & meds are mostly covered by insurance. However, it doesn't account for supplements, missed work for illness, recovery or appointments, drive times & gas to and from all the things, maintenance to our car, etc. Cancer life is expensive.
